      Thanks! I found keyframes confusing when I started video editing. But when you break the concept down it's not quite as hard to understand. --Jim

    Tanks Jim. Very clear. I'm off to play with keyframes.
    One thing; 'moment in time' can be replaced by moment, and time as well. Why not instant? Pleonasms can be very irritating.

      Harvey,
      Hope this helps you get a handle on keyframes. As for the pleonasms, I'm horribly guilty at times, though I'm trained in English. I've tried to break that habit in subsequent videos. So please bear with the ones where this crept in. :) --Jim

    In other words a keyframe is a timeline marker. What makes it special is that it contains instructions as to how an object will behave. I hope I got it right.

    • @SharperTurtle
      @SharperTurtle  5 лет назад +1

      That's the core of it. Each keyframe track controls a different attribute, such as scale, position, and rotation, depending on the element that is being keyframed. --Jim

    Hello! Thank-you for these very helpful videos. I need to know if you have a video on borders. Many of the videos I make for my channels end up with unsightly black borders when I upload them to RUclips. I don't know how to tell if that is a setting in Power Director or on Y/T. Thank-you!

    • @SharperTurtle
      @SharperTurtle  3 года назад

      I have a few questions. Where are your borders? Top, bottom, left right? When you produce for RUclips what aspect ratio are you using? 4x3 or 16x9? What file format are you using? WMV, MP4, etc.? --Jim

    This was very helpful, Thank You! In colour-adjustment, we're asked "keyframe" vs. "apply to all". I want a clip (I have multiple clips in my project) to have those adjustments. If I click "apply to all" (but I only want it applied to that clip), will my other clips be affected?

    • @SharperTurtle
      @SharperTurtle  5 лет назад +1

      Great question. "Apply to All" will make the changes to all the clips in your timeline. --Jim
