You can also get an app on the homescreen by opening the widget then go to hamburger menu then settings, you will find an option "Show Weather on Apps Screen." 😊
Ella I don't think you should just take Samsung as the verdict for all android devices. My personal experience using many devices is that many major Chinese brands give many features that comes as android default before android releases them. I had great software & feature experience using Huawei, Xiaomi & phones made by BBK Electronics. Actually I use both Android & Apple devices,Samsung maybe be compared with Apple because of how huge the company is, But for an android user Samsung is like the Apple in their Eco system, that is so expensive & not price worthy compared to other counterparts. And, less customizable when compared with their own OS(Not including skins or themes from 3rd parties) Love to see you review other Android devices too and see the difference.😊❤️
@@_Ace._ It's okay It's your opinion. Think open minded. Maybe you are a Samsung superfan like some friends of mine. Last time I had great experience with Samsung A series from 2018. But like Samsung does I remember when I was using Huawei back couple of years ago, we received android features before it officially added. The bad thing is Chinese phones have the features doubled. From the manufacturer & from Android which makes the storage run out. I don't say Samsung is bad. Samsung flagships are great. But every other one is not that worth. But, I see nowadays Samsung is making midrange phones and moving up on the list of price worthy. And I'm just asking Ella to cover her idea on other brands because. I still hear that some people say Apple and Android ( They only mean Samsung by this) So If people want to move to Android from Apple. They should see that there are other value options too ☺️
@@No1No1No1 insert the widget on your hone screen, tap it, go to the hamburger menu in the top go to settings switch "show weather on apps screen" on and then go home and remove the widget
Reviewers don't know that customisation on Android is not only about the homescreen but also customizing how you want the device to function, addition and removal of features even at OS level.
Lol seems like all you Android users do on your “phones” is customize loaders, sideload apps, and play 20+ year old games/ROMs on your Emulator app all day. That’s literally all Android users talk about. Apps like IG, Snapchat, Twitter all run terrible on Android and seamlessly on iOS because app developers see this sad usage data from Android “users” and dont even bother optimizing. 😂 Us iPhone users on the other hand have rich social lives and actually use these apps on our premium world class cutting edge devices to communicate ideas, share culture and bring joy to others around the world. 👑😇
@@typer1911 yeah, shoot me! My butt could have never cared more about social apps at all. They are bad on Android but not everyone wants that. And yes, we do have emulators even Nintendo Switch emulators so we don't use androids just for playing old games. It's because of the disgusting and incompetent developers. Social apps could've been the same as they are on ios.
I've been on Android since the G1 and made the switch the apple this year. The only edge up I've noticed is the in-app camera for social media platforms, as you've stated in the video. I believe a lot of emphasis is placed on this bc of the growing amount of influencers and I really do love this feature. But other than that, I totally miss my android apps and features 😭 the widgets on iOS are so basic! How do you not have interactive widgets in 2022??!!! No picture in picture for video streaming??? And the stock keyboard 🥴 id say Android apps wash iOS for the most part
Why I can't switch to iphone they still don't have true multitasking I have a Google pixel 6 Google is working on camera for third party apps they have made some changes with Snapchat I hope they can do this for all third party apps soon
I like your android vs iOS series. Most other videos just show cliche points but you are including daily usage stuffs. Its helpful for people like me who are trying to switch os.
It is unfair to call Samsung apps bloatware when we call apple equivalent "apple apps". For me they are native apps. By the way I prefer Samsung native apps over iOs, calendar, mail, Samsung notes. Wouldn't call them bloatware. Also i'd pick Bixby with its useful routines over Siri.
I agree. Also, don't tell anyone, but I actually prefer Bixby over Google Assistant! I know GA has broader capabilities, but for my focused uses (phone calls, weather, opening apps, etc.) Bixby works perfectly and is more powerful than Siri or GA when it comes to controlling the phone itself.
@Joe The music app literally says that my phone has put it to sleep since it took no CPU time. It has gotten zero CPU time. On Android 11 and android 12, especially Samsung phones, removing the default apps CAN be done, but does not increase performance or battery life. Just like having more files on your hard drive doesn't slow down your computer more, unless it's actually running.
@Joe partly agree but the apps Samsung has does not make them any profit, apple has apple music and icloud so i cant say but most of the native apps are necessities
Sometimes watching phone reviews, I feel like reviewers on YT tend to put too much emphasis on the importance of camera features. People who create professional content tend to have way higher standards when it comes to the quality of photos, videos, and the experience of posting them online.
I’ve been with Android for the past 14 years and I can say it was a pleasant and great experience. I recently switched to iOS, and I can say I love it. Apple ui/ux design team knows what they are doing. It has such satisfying user interface and beautiful animations. For those looking for absolute freedom such as customisation, even go as far as installing a custom ROM, Android is for you. But those simply looking for a device that functions with an amazing ui and said “aesthetically pleasing” os design iOS is for you. So none is really better than the other, it all depends on what your needs are in a device.
“aesthetically pleasing os design iOS." This is one of the many things that keeps me from buying an iPhone. I just don't like how the UI looks. It's super basic, simplistic, and kinda boring to look at. That is subjective and my opinion but it's a bit of a deal breaker for me. Also, the widgets are basic and noninteractive. Can't set Gmail or Outlook as the default mail app. Unless this has changed. There are a lot of things I don't like about iOS. I will say that I wish Android had a texting platform like iMessage. The closest I can get to that is Facebook Messenger. Other than that, I definitely enjoy the Android OS a lot more because it's a lot less limiting and there are so many design options even though I mainly stick with Samsung because it is literally the highest tier phone you can get on Android. Nothing else, in the Android market, beats it. I still hate the curved screen that Samsung refuses to move away from. I much prefer a flat display so I will give that one to Apple.
@@Drewsterman777 Android has RCS which is getting close to iMessage, also iirc the non ultra varients of the S series nowadays aren't curved. But rather flat, but I will mention I didn't look much into it and only running off of memory.
@@Dwivil The problem with RCS is it requires all of the Android manufacturers to use it or use Google's messenger app, which there in lies the main problem. It has to be adopted by at least the major Android companies like Samsung, OnePlus, Oppo, whatever is popular outside the US. I'm a bit of an electronics snob and only buy the latest and greatest smartphone so I don't even look at the non flagship variants for myself. I still research them because I like tech and I'm always being asked advice, by friends and family, on what to buy. I am not a fan of iOS but I won't disway someone from buying an iPhone. I just lay out the pro's and cons and let them decide.
if Apple had more interactive widgets & something similar to Android's new color palette feature I'd definitely use my iPhone more lol. I go back to my samsung because of the customization
I recently got an S22 and I actually did a test to see if there's a significant difference in the quality of photos taken on Snapchat and I was very surprised to see that in many cases, my S22's snaps looked better than my friend's iPhone 13. On my S22, there's even a dedicated night mode on Snapchat which appears to be missing on the iPhone. Instagram stories are still not as good however so hopefully that changes in due course
CORRECTION: Android (Samsung in this case) has a weather app and it has a lot of information and good animations. By default it's hidden because there are interactive widgets and you will likely never open a weather app because you see a widget on every unlock. Click the widget then settings and you'll see a "Show weather app in appscreen" toggle
very true. WHen you have the weather widget on your screen and tap it, it opens the weather app and you never need to go to the app screen, find it and open it there. It is a 1 step process. I have the weather app enabled in my app drawer but never open it from there. ( I will long press it to get to the widget options faster)
@@sourabhsehrawat honestly, the only downside with the S22 is the battery life, but I can still get around 5-6 hours of Screen On Time with 150% of battery.. The screen is much better than the iPhone (Punch-Hole vs Notch), and I like Samsung's more vivid photos aswell. It's really up to you but I've used Samsungs all my life and they've worked great.
@@cohenveysey I’ll be buying for the experience mainly coz i know the display is better on 13 and i do play some games on my device too so finally I’ve decided I’ll be going with the 13 .
I've been using samsung for the main purpose of customization. I use to own apple but never went back to it as my phone, I do own a iPad but only for procreate or else I would have gone with the samsung tablet too. Conclusion though both apple and android have neat feature I just lean towards android a bit more.
I like both evenly iphone is just harder to do the same stuff but most of it can still be done with work arounds. That performance can’t be matched tho while android still performing much less in single and multi core performance it’s hard to utilize it without hoops
@@robmalcolm8042 I personally don't do a lot on my phone aside from going on RUclips, watching shows and listening to my music on spotify so performances on the phones are the least of my worries of course those who do a lot more on their phones I can definitely see why they'd focus on which phone can handle/perform their daily needs better. It always just comes down to personal preferences :)
The best from Samsung is the Separate App Sound. It allows you to listen your music via BT and continue using your phone like FB, Tiktok while keeping the sound to your Phone.
For me it’s not only the customisation, but the features of One Ui. There is a lot of useful Samsung apps like one hand gestures or Good lock that is just crazy useful for heavy users.
Actually Samsung has a weather app installed hence the widgets shown in the video. Also you can make your own Android widgets via KWGT. Thanks for the video
Even though most apps on ios may be more optimized and sometimes have a few more features than on Android, one aspect no one talks about when comparing the same app on both platforms is also accessing the settings. On all Android apps they will have a dedicated settings menu to quickly change a setting if needed. or even the permissions. But on iPhone, they might have a few in app settings but some like permissions are all in the general settings of the phone and you have to scroll through and find the app to make any changes. This can be handy if you are say removing permissions to a bunch pf apps at once where you don't need to open each app independently but on the fly in the app is not always easy on an iPhone. But it all depends on the app. Some there aren't big difference, some it is a bunch.
For me, this is actually the point why I switched to iOS (and I enjoy it so much more). I already spent a decade having Android phones and customized it as far as I possibly could. I just came to a point that I didn't want to customize anymore and just have the apps working perfectly as it is. Both OS are great, really just depends on your preference -- and now, I prefer iOS 😀
Same here.... Ive been using Iphones for decades and then switched... I love the customization and the pros of android. But somehow I also miss the convenience of using apple. Apple ecosystem is very well optimized and smooth. (S22 is the closest.. but they still could not match the smoothness of IOS)

I have had both iPhone and android. Both ranges from referbished iPhone to low end to mid range to flagship androids. I know some apps are first to launch on iOS first cause it's easier. At the end of the day it shouldn't matter what you choose cause it's your choice. If you let someone make the choice for you then you need better people in your life
If a 3rd party want their app on ios, it's not as easy as you think to get it on there & when it comes to 3rd party apps, developers are gonna put them on the most popular device out there.
I don't use the in app cameras on Android, I use the Samsung camera and then upload it using the social media apps. Don't forget Apple's weather widget came from Android Dark Sky until they were bought. I heard the apps on ios you get are paid when on Android they are free.
which apps all are free expect for the music service which is like pandora for the free version and the tv app there’s free versions for almost all the apps except for the premium versions which makes sense 😭
@Benjamin Jagun last I checked keep has no support for writing on PDFs its just text only no? AOD Screen off quick notes are probably my most used feature on android.
Good Lock and Fine Lock (For those like me that can't have good lock, it's the same thing, except Fine Lock uses apk files) anyways, they both do a much better job at customising volume buttons... well worth checking it out...
I use a iPhone 13 but I never find myself using any of the messaging features. So apple has more messaging features but I really don’t think anyone really uses them much.
I said the same shit till I went to a 13 just to try after years of android and on and off with iPad and Itouches and nah bro the messaging is way better than android smooth and goes thru iMessage is worth it
I started using an iPhone this year, and I was shocked to see how limited is apps are compared to my Android phone. Many settings are missing completely.
I'm gonna add all apps installed will do a security check by Google so even if you did install a bad app you will be notified. You can also hide the apps or disable them so bloat is less of an issue.
Most use iphone because of iMessage Since I switched back to android, I haven't missed iMessage at all. But I also think apple should adopt rcs for universal messaging.
Fuck iMessage 💬 and fuck FaceTime been malfunctioning for 2 weeks im definitely going back to android Apple fuckin sucks apple is about profit margins and they definitely don’t stand by the consumer and there products and i can get more done on android with my business than apple
One thing though is Snapchat is better on the new Galaxys! You have built in night mode for low light and it uses the phones native wide, telephoto and periscope zooms as well!
To put it as simple as possible: Both iOS and Android has an app for everything. But because Apple releases 4-5 iPhones pr year and Android releases several thousand different devices every year. So when you open an app on iPhone, it will be custom made for that iPhone specifically and therefore work perfect. Imagine it like every app is a tailored suit. But since there as SO many Android phones, developers don't have a chance to adjust their app for every phone. So they made an app that fits all devices. So instead of the suit being tailored, it's a one-size fits all thing. That ofcourse means the app will look somewhat weird no matter the Android phone, and also not perform the same as iPhone even with x2 times more RAM. If you have used android all your life I don't think you'll notice at all because you haven't "seen the other side". But use iOS for 6 months and go back to android and you will for sure notice a BIG difference. (Also, I'm not saying android is bad by any means, just that they are quite different)

Most people know this but the reason why androids have worse social media camera quality is because the app is actually screen recording the camera view downgrading the quality since there are millions of different androids but only a few iPhones/iOS devices to build and modify apps for and app devs don’t have enough time to develop app for the millions of android phones it’s kinda like in the 2010s when Samsung made like 100 phones a year apps wouldn’t and couldn’t be developed and edited for each one
btw Samsung does have a default weather app and imo, samsungs default has alot of aesthethics compared to apple, which i can say 90pct of people will prefer, but i prefer a simple weather app that shows everything in 1 screen without needing to scroll
Because Android is fragmented compared to iOS. Less devices to maintain, that's why snapchat and Instagram cameras favour iOS. But snapchat has teamed up with pixel 6 series...so hopefully snapchat uses the native pixel 6 series cameras
As people say iOS is easier. Even though with android it's not there is more devices it's each manufacturer puts their own stuff over android. If android was like pixel minus the bugs then there wouldn't be an issue
@@Truecrimeresearcher224 Sony and Moto has almost stock Android and it still wouldn't work. It's more than the UI laid on top of Android. Different cameras on different devices have their own code. Hints are fragmented. I don't believe it's a more heavy skinned UI that makes it hard for app developers like snapchat and instagram.
The thing with making 3rd party apps for ios, it is a lot harder to get the app on ios, cause you gotta go by their rules & specs. Developers will accept that headache, cause they want their app on the popular product.
@@Truecrimeresearcher224 that’s debatable the first pixel sucks the battery degraded probably less than half a year I can charge that thing now and it’ll die fast even with just minor emulation of snes and all signals turned off the Samsung note 10+ is better and iphone 13 so far has been the absolute best when it comes to battery for sure
One thing I dislike about iOS is that it doesn't let 3rd party cloud apps sync or auto sync unless it's open on the background or foreground. Android allows auto sync even when the app is closed out.
i agree with you. I noticed my wife's iPhone opens apps faster, but when she needs to make a settings change..game over. It is like a 5-6 step process. Where Android it is like 2 to 3 max.
Great video, one issue I have with Samsung phones are all the bloatware apps from other companies that they install. It should be our choice if we want them.
I only chose an iPhone because it's easier to find iPhone cases and accessories in my country, also because I've been using Android for the past 10 years. Good video tho, Ella 👍
7:05 you’re really not comparing apples to apples if you’re talking about Samsung when it comes to bloatware on Android. If you want a more accurate comparison, you should be comparing iPhone to Pixel.
I know for a fact using both the Apple iPhone and Pixel the Apple apps are much better more stability. However Google has the far more intuitive operating system, and assistant. So It's basically do you want seamless use between the products being offered or do you want better looking applications.
Definitely a question worth asking, as “iOS has better apps” seems to be taken as a universal truth without much investigation. Sounds like, in reality, it depends lol
I agree. It depends on the the apps and their developer. For example, I bought the Tab S8 Ultra and had to return it due to Onenote on android being so limited compared to the windows and IOS version. There was nothing wrong with the tablet itself (unless we are talking about the screen not having variable refresh rate), but I didn't have the time to test the tablet/samsung notes around since I could miss the window to return it. The tablet itself was beautiful! I could do more with it since I'm an android/windows user. However, the main notetaking app (Onenote) that I used for College is so limited, and it's not because of android, it's due to Microsoft.
@@chickenpasta7359 That's true, but the problem is that the apps are (mostly all of them) should be optimized for devices that most people use. However, I was talking about the apps being so limited on android compared to iOS or even the PC version, not how different the apps are between android devices
I think the discourse just comes from the fact that ppl use Android with lot worse specs than what your typical iPhone had, so obviously iOS ran better in their own perspective. But now it’s 2023 and ppl lnow better
There actually is a default weather app on Samsung, it's just not visible as an actual app by default for some reason. Have to go into the Settings and look for the Weather App through Settings, click "Weather Settings" and then toggle the "Show Weather on Apps Screen" to on, or you can just click on the widget to bring up the app instead.
The issue about social media apps not doing well on Android has been true for quite some time. This is because these companies use the ViewFinder API which does a screen grab of your Android phone's screen rather than the camera. Then each Android phone brand has their own UI and layer upon the stock Android stuff. Samsung has been the slowest at resolving this camera issue unfortunately. They still haven't released their camera SDKs and libraries to the public for Android developers to optimize their Android apps for Samsung's cameras. So that has been a bad user experience for the owners of Samsung devices. While for stock Android phones such as the Google Pixel 6, this actually hasn't been an issue. The camera issue isn't an issue on stock Android devices. I mean I am not against brands releasing their own flavors of Android. But if you tweak the UI, at least release the tools and SDKs so developers can better properly optimize their apps for your device which will result in a better experience for your customers.
@@JRBowling1997 yea that is amazing for sure! However it is super unfortunate that these brands haven't opened up their APIs and SDKs to enable small to mid size developers to optimize their apps for these devices
Apps dont use screenshot nowadays but instead old camera api Camera2 which lacks many features. New one CameraX isnt used by many so its kind of google and 3rd party apps fault. No brand doesnt need to provide sdk to apps. Apps use google android camera api. ios has easier integration while android doesnt. Google Pixel has faster processing because it provides access to its visual core to 3rd party apps. It may not improve quality much but definitely time to process.
I've been with Android since 2012 and last year I purchased an iPhone 12 Pro - I literally only used the phone for 3 months before switching to my old Samsung Note 10, and then later buying the Pixel 6 Pro...there is just something about Apple that I really can't jive with..no matter how many updates they make, it's a no for me dog.

Android apps apart from the very popular ones backed by big corporations totally suck. They crash, lag and often have various weird issues. iOS apps are definitely better optimized due to limited number of devices
The only issue I see is the in app camera which is bound to get fixed sooner or later... And if you opt for a stock Android phone aka the pixel the in app camera is already better than iOS, you can use ultrawide and telephoto lens too and you get the same quality as your camera app

Well compared to samsung which has less years in life expectancy but still close enough to Apple being a litte too overly perfect, pros and cons for both.!!!
I like both Samsung as a android device is a lot easier to do stuff like emulation of older consoles although iPhone emulates really well too but it’s a much more of a mission if it ain’t jailbroken
I’ve always had Android devices but last year I decided to purchase an iPad. Honestly, it’s good, but nowhere near Android when it comes to being a productivity and multitasking tool, split screen ease of use, etc. I do miss my Samsung tablet but on the other hand, I have a two-year-old iPad (Pro 11” 2020) that feels brand new and will stay that way for quite some time. At least that should count for something…
I always feel like samsung products shine brighter, but burn out quicker if that makes sense. They're pretty much better in every way besides maybe the animations of the user interface. They allow you to do so much more and have a lot more fun than you can on an ios device. But ios devices last a little longer.
Based on this one video I watched, the reason why Apple has better in-app cameras is because Apple only has two phone lineups using the same OS and provides long-term support for updates, which makes it easier for developers to optimize their apps. Meanwhile, Android has hundreds of devices, all from different manufacturers, with various operating systems and chipsets, making it harder for developers to optimize their apps.
Samsung has weather apps, just turn ON. In the settings Weather. 1. Go to weather, (with Widgets) 2. Setting, (up left & gear icon ⚙️) 3. Turn ON, (show icon on home screen)
Hello Ella, i like your videos, the only suggestion would be that you do more research on one UI as i feel you overlooked many great features, sometimes it feels that you are bias to IPhone.
Samsung does have a weather app! You need to get the widget, click on it, and in the settings check show in the apps list. It is an app but Samsung decided not to show it as default.
File management is way worse on an iPhone vs any Android. MS Office apps and the the Google apps that are on an iPhone are like “light versions” compared to the feature rich versions on Android.
with all my respect . I find you siding with the iPhone and focusing on its positives. For example, you did not mention the negatives of the iPhone, such as the connection to the computers, the price, the single sim, quick share...etc. On the other hand, you focus on the negatives of Android.. I was an android user for many years. I switched to iOS about 2 years ago. Now I have a pretty updated apple ecosystem and to me it’s way better than what Samsung provided for me. They both have their pros and cons but personally apple is more effective to me in the way I use it as an ecosystem
one thing I noticed that's not covered in your videos is the quality of graphics in games like genshin. IDK what it is, but the characters are more sharp on iphones than on android even when they're both in the highest settings
@@LucyTheLightbringer yes optimisation, but not because of iphones GPU being better. Genshin on android is 800p max so it can be used on any other Android. Whereas iphones have better optimisation for each iphone model, hence perfect scaling for each models resolution.
samsung actually has a weather app, go and click the weather widget and enter it's settings. There is an option there to show the app on the app screen.
Yess a big influencer mentioning Fii Note! It is the most underrated app on Android in my opinion. My favourite app of all time possibly, and it doesn't require a subscription (very rare these days, but I always try to use apps that don't require a subscription, open-source if I can, or one time payment apps, if the only option that exists is a big app that requires a subscription, I might get the modded version cough cough). It costs 3 pounds per device (one time payment) to unlock password protected notes, but other than that all the features are free. You can literally do anything with it, I've been using for three years but I'm still always discovering new features. The dev is also amazing, he generally replies in a couple of days if you find a bug or have suggestions for the app :) It's also been developed with the past ten years, so finger crossed it shouldn't go away too soon.
I have a small jewelry business and I've been thinking about switching to iPhone for the social media apps. However, there is one tiny thing that really bothers me about fb messenger on iphones is that you can't have messenger chat heads open while using other apps, you have to be using messenger or fb to have chat heads. On Samsung, the chat head is always there regardless if you're using FB apps or not. So I can chat with people and be in the YT app at the same time. Something super simple that really bothers me. Other than that I would just miss the customization capabilities that you get with Samsung. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong about the messenger app. 🤷♀️ Otherwise I'll be upgrading from my s9+ to the s22 ultra soon.
I love the weirdness that's available on Android (typing this on my Galaxy Fold 3)and I'm currently very happy with Niagara Launcher, something I couldn't do with iOS
I wish you wouldn't refer to the s22 ultra as just android. You could call it the samsung instead. The pixel would be a much better comparison stock vs stock.
As an app developer, I don’t know if side loading is good as people just install cracked version of apps. Which developers build with so much hard work
Launcher I use: Nova Launcher + $4.99 Nova Prime (unlocks more stuff like gestures) Icon pack: $2.99? LineX (I don't remember the price of that icon pack but don't quote me on that) The widgets are the same app as the icon. Background: city background that is in the same app as the icon pack.
Re your point on social media platforms, they don't all behave the same way. For eg., Pinterest has what they call idea pins and there are some features on iOS that are not available on the Android app. I know updates are normally available on iOS first, so am not sure if it's a case of just waiting it out.
on bloatware, it depends on what you define as bloatware and what Android device. iOS has tons of 1st party bloatware apps that you can't remove like the stocks app but people just don't think of them as bloat because they are 1st party apps. compared to a pixel, on fresh install iOS has way more apps you can't uninstall.
Quick clarification - Samsung does (kinda) have a weather app by default, but you can only access it by tapping on its weather widget
You can also get an app on the homescreen by opening the widget then go to hamburger menu then settings, you will find an option "Show Weather on Apps Screen." 😊

I have it in my app drawer/homescreen but you do need to place it there as it's not present out of the box .

The ability to completely customize your device is one of the main reasons why I prefer Samsung's One UI over iOS.
love Samsung One UI , prefer it to Pixel stock android
One UI hits the sweet spot on being customisable and still being standardized enough to be accessible for older family members.

Social apps could've been the same as they are on ios.
I've been on Android since the G1 and made the switch the apple this year. The only edge up I've noticed is the in-app camera for social media platforms, as you've stated in the video.
@Joe it doesn't actually slow down your phone since it doesn't give it any CPU time when you're not using them.

THIS
“aesthetically pleasing os design iOS."
This is one of the many things that keeps me from buying an iPhone.

You actually made a good argument for iOS. Having all your settings in the settings menu is far better than searching for it in each individual app.
For me, this is actually the point why I switched to iOS (and I enjoy it so much more). I already spent a decade having Android phones and customized it as far as I possibly could.

I find the RUclips app on iPhone to not be as smooth as Android for some reason and that's my most used app

I know for a fact using both the Apple iPhone and Pixel the Apple apps are much better more stability. However Google has the far more intuitive operating system, and assistant. So It's basically do you want seamless use between the products being offered or do you want better looking applications.
I think the main thing is most of the apps that aren't massive are higher quality, or more polished, but they also cost a little more sometimes.
That's because in reality it mostly is better on iOS. Apple has less devices to work with and a much more forward SDK.

On the S22 samsung partners with snapchat so videos and photos don't suck. You can even use all ghe lenses and night mode...

Its too darn expensive for the amount of features they give...
But what they give... they give it without flaws and pretty well optimized.
All that aside my first android phone is also note 10 and I am loving it !!!
@@nyizaw8335 I'm sure a lot of people think it's flawless, but I don't. The iPhone 12 pro that I got is very slow, and I'd consider that a flaw. It's also super glitchy, and doesn't multitask well. So, it does have flaws.
@@amonique sounds like you’re either lying or you got a defective unit.
iPhones are the opposite of slow and glitchy, and that’s a universal truth
@@arandomhumanbeing2464 you're super rude and delusional. Why would I lie over an iphone comment? And yeah it's defective, but they are pretty slow. Ever heard of a refresh rate?
@@amonique delusional says someone claiming iPhones are slow? Okurrrr
Crazy to see how Samsung went from being ridiculed as having the worst UI to constantly being praised and acknowledged as now having the best UI.
The S22 ultra has built in support for the camera along with Snapchat …. That was one of their ‘advertisements’ so it’s not all social media 👌🏼
This is the comparisos that we should be seeing. Thank you, Ella!
Ella you are amazing... You are giving very detailed information on topics in a very structured manner that many youtubers lack. I am a big fan of yours 😍😍
Great video. We need more like this ❤🎉
Android apps apart from the very popular ones backed by big corporations totally suck.
Some versions of Samsung Ultra's Android Galaxy compared to Apple iOS Iphone Cameras are a little bit way more better than compared to other versions of Samsung Ultra and Samsung Galaxy, but when you compared it to Apple iOS...Well why do you think a lot of multiculture 9/11 Emergency First Responder personel workers here in North America actually us Apple iOS just like Silicon Valley, because of the Software and Integration...Plus when you compare the iOS Iphone to other versions of the Apple Iphone's Apple iOS System, well some people don't care so much about the quaility of the corlouring and/or-brightness of the background just as long as it's not too dark either but more about the size of certain Iphones and the corlour of the the phone's casing such as the phone case both on the sides including the back and front of the phone not just bottom to the top...But when it comes to the older versions of samsung android, well the Newer versions of Apple iOS Iphones compared to the older versions of Apple iOS and IDevices are better than the older Apple Iphones from iOS and samsung ultra and galaxy...But certain samsung galaxy phones have the same design case as the Iphones, Apple has a better looking attractive design especially with the cameras while only certain Samsung ones have better camera appearance and case design physiques.!!! Plus Apple is more of a personal use based phone for mobile due to relaxation and family purposes with android being more of a work phone, think about iOS's Iheart and Imusic apps and gaming along with Itunes...Great Music plus the video camera system and longer lifespan in year Expectancy.!!! Well compared to samsung which has less years in life expectancy but still close enough to Apple being a litte too overly perfect, pros and cons for both.!!!
Watching this on my S22 Ultra, after your review I had some time to think about getting one and now I am proud to say I am satisfied
Great vid Ella!
thank you!
Samsung's built in video player has a function for turning segments of video into gifs.
1. Go to weather, (with Widgets)
2. Setting, (up left & gear icon ⚙️)
Greetings
It’s the processor, iPhone processors are leagues ahead
@@LucyTheLightbringer no it's not, it's scaling lol
@@keith5790 It is lol & also optimization
@@LucyTheLightbringer yes optimisation, but not because of iphones GPU being better.
Genshin on android is 800p max so it can be used on any other Android.
Whereas iphones have better optimisation for each iphone model, hence perfect scaling for each models resolution.
@@LucyTheLightbringer say whut? leagues ahead but throttles down and also dim screen after 10mins. youre a fool
samsung actually has a weather app, go and click the weather widget and enter it's settings.
Buy the new s22 much better
I love the weirdness that's available on Android (typing this on my Galaxy Fold 3)and I'm currently very happy with Niagara Launcher, something I couldn't do with iOS
Google pixel 6 is the only android that managed to get the same camera on social media apps. (Finally)
I wish you wouldn't refer to the s22 ultra as just android. You could call it the samsung instead. The pixel would be a much better comparison stock vs stock.
The social media issue is a developer issue, not OS
As an app developer, I don’t know if side loading is good as people just install cracked version of apps. Which developers build with so much hard work
Launcher I use: Nova Launcher
+ $4.99 Nova Prime (unlocks more stuff like gestures)
Icon pack: $2.99? LineX (I don't remember the price of that icon pack but don't quote me on that)
The widgets are the same app as the icon.
You can actually delete everything on iPhone
I don’t know how you made the text to go with your phone and it looks like it’s AR, but it it looks amazing.
As an iPhone user I’ve never taken a photo with instagrams camera & I don’t know why I would outside of using their effects maybe
