Her voice, timing, and the dynamics of the song was made for me in the seconds between 1:45-155. The subtle things like that make and already great rendition into something I will have to listen to 1000 times trying to dissect what makes it come together so well. Thank you

This is just beautiful. I still remember the first time I saw her on Later With Jools Holland back in 2006. She came to Argentina last year, and I couldn't make it. I Would love to see her live. She is absolutely marvelous.

jihyun choi I’ve been a fan since age 16 and her concert was the first actual concert I’ve been to at age 26. She smiled at me and did a heart ❤️ symbol with her hands during one of her performances. 😍 It was such a good show.
I saw her in 2006 for The Greatest tour, I was 17! Now I’m 29 and I’m seeing her for the 3rd time in November in Los Angeles!

Been a CP fan for more than 15 years. But for some reason the piano and vocal arrangement really remind me a lot of "The Greatest" song. It reminds me a lot of the "You Are Free" album too. I gotta like this song since it sounds like it might be off my favorite two albums by Chan.

I am going insane trying to find the song the specific song that this reminds me of. I hear The Greatest/Lived in Bars but I also hear something from You Are Free and can't find the song. The part around 0:50 the lyrics and piano sound almost exactly like part of one of her other songs. I hope I find it before I go mad.

yesss! I thought the same thing. I actually didn't even realize it was a cover at first until I was reading about the album. She really made it her own.

I flew out to the bay area to visit a former roommate. she had a new boyfriend who was at work that I had never met but said that he had bought us tickets for a show that night at the Fillmore. Well I wanted to know the band right away--I asked two word name or three? She said two. Later he came in, I met him and instantly asked who it was--Cat Power he said. It was during the Greatest tour. She killed it--it was totally amazing. The best is yet to come.
Saw her performance the other night in Houston, TX... simply amazing.
