In the video I am holding regular dramamine which is not the less drowsy version. The less drowsy Dramamine is the one that has the same active ingredient as Bonine. Please consult your doctor for anything medical related 🙂
Great video. These are many of the things that people forget when they travel. Fellow nurse here- one tiny thing- Dramamine and Bonine do not have the same ingredients. One is meclizine which is great if you get drowsy easily (it is less likely to cause drowsiness) the other is dimenhydrinate which does cause drowsiness. Both will help with motion sickness but have different actions. I carry similar items but I add two pairs of gloves to my first aid kit. Twice I have been called into action to assist with folks who have been injured. I also keep a bigger first aid kit in my carry-on that can double as a small trauma kit.
@@erinf4712 I didn't realize that I was holding the regular formula lol. The less drowsy dramamine has meclizine in it. I should have mentioned the less drowsy formula. Thanks for catching that. I usually bring gloves to but I need to restock. Thats great you have a small trauma kit in your carry on. It's great to have in case of an emergency. Thanks for all you do 💕
September 26. 2024: Newbie here to your channel, but loving these mini’s which is what I try to do or collect. Loving that emergency with the meds. I do that also but a few you have will add. I find when you travel it is not only for me but others. Your items I am going to do as a gift with bag for love ones and friends for a unique gift. Thank you for the time you put into it.
Hi! I love all the mini packs in this flight pack! Just wondering if the Swiss card doesn’t get confiscated esp with the scissors? My hubby has a similar metal card that has diff edges/uses as well (bottle opener, screw drivers etc) but it got confiscated 😅
Hi! I didn’t have an issue taking that card in my personal item bag. I read on TSA’s website: If packed in carry-on, scissors must be less than 4 inches from the pivot point. As always the TSA officer has the final say. Thats too bad your husband’s tool was confiscated. Other RUclipsrs have the same one I have and haven’t had an issue, maybe your hubby can try the one I have. Thanks for watching 😊💕
What is Zicam? I've never seen that before here in Canada 🇨🇦, nor can you buy drammamine or bonine (we have a product called Gravol that is basically the equivalent) here.
Oh that’s interesting sorry I should’ve explained what it was. It’s a medicated nasal swab that reduces the duration of a cold. Thanks for letting me know about Gravol. Now I know what I can look for when I visit Canada 🇨🇦 I appreciate you watching 😊💕

So smart to use the belt bag as a pouch en route. You are super prepared.
I appreciate it! Thanks so much for watching 😊💕
I agree because you can also hang it.
@@orapronobis2149 yes I do that and it doubles as a foot rest for me lol
This is a terrific, comprehensive list!!

Do you have a link for the clear ziplock type bag that you showed with your first aid kit? It's a really good size.❤
@@cheryldekoevend6626 just linked “clear pouches” for you in the description box 😊
You’re allowed on the plane with the scissors/clippers/etc.?
