Thank you so much! I was wondering about the baby nail clippers, I have kind of thick nails, so I’m wondering if they would go through my nails. Do you find that they work just as well as regular nail clippers and did they slip out of your fingers?
Thank you for sharing what's in your latest bum bag! Other than your multitool with the removable blade and the thin foldable glasses, I pretty much carry the same items in my edc. My only suggestion is that you put your extra facemask in a plastic cover of some sort (preferably a sealed one) since you put it in the same pocket as your cash. Bills exchange hands A LOT and you can't really disinfect them. Having them next to something you'll be putting in direct contact with your face is a big "No" for me.
Hi Eunice, thank you for this video. I have a “hack” that I used in my last trip to Oahu. I placed several important items (pen, collapsible glass, extra ear phones, mints and gum, tiny toothbrush and chewing toothpaste, reusable utensils) in a reusable large silicone bag that I put in my personal bag. Once in the plane I put the whole bag in the little space above the table. The important stuff (AirPods, ID, cash) where inside my jacket (which I never took off). The bag hack was a suggestion by another traveler.
That’s a great idea and thank you so much for sharing it with us! Plus you can use the silicone bag as a hot water bottle or an ice pack if you need to! 💕😊
Great idea, I always take my travel kitchen in a Stasher bag. I can use it at my destination to bring leftovers back from the restaurant, store food in the fridge, heat it in the microwave (or for sous vide cooking if I have access to a kitchen), and as Eunice mentions, as an ice pack or heat pack in case of injury.
@@jenharvey3397 thanks Jen! Yes, I always bring my silicone bag with my immersion water heater. It’s in my larger personal item bag and that also has my little portable kitchen in a bag in there as well.😊
I love the silk scarf. I always take a pashmina but the silk scarf would be so much thinner. Great idea. I still use your one week toiletry hack. I think it’s been close to a year now. I’m set for a week with that little bag🥰

Yes, always good to be prepared for not only yourself, but for others too. Even though there is a small set of tweezers in that Swiss army card tool, is it really necessary to carry another set of tweezers? Same question regarding the screwdriver head that is also in that same tool. It fits different heads of screws as well. Is it just that the extra one you carry is easier to use?
That’s actually a great question! Regarding the tweezers, the one in the multitool is OK, but I find if I really need to get a grip on something, I like a better set of tweezers. Also regarding the screwdriver set in the multitool again it’s OK and may do it in a pinch especially for flathead, but they don’t really fit in to those glasses if you need to screw the glasses in also the multitool that I carry with the blade has a much better Phillips head point on it. I didn’t point it out in this video because I pointed it out in my other multitool video. Thanks for posting that question 😊
Got a question for you Eunice- when you travel especially to other countries, do you use the in room safe to store passports and other important items? Thanks and Blessings!
Great question. And the answer is it depends on where I’m staying for how long and what I brought along with me as well as how big the safe is. I usually don’t travel with very much jewelry so it wouldn’t go in there cause I’m usually wearing it. However, if I do bring a lot of jewelry like I did for my son’s wedding in India, I definitely locked it up in the safe.. that being said, there are so many people in the hotel that have access to that safe that it could technically still get stolen. That’s why sometimes I will put things in my aircraft aluminum luggage and lock that up and then I use a cable lock to lock my luggage to something solid in the actual hotel room. This way, I can put things like my laptop and my camera gear and electronics in there if I feel that I’m not in a very safe situation that being said, I have had those hotel safes break twice on me where I couldn’t get into it and my passport was inside and I had to fly out and it was a bit of a scramble to get somebody from the management team up to the hotel to get my passport out for me. So generally, I keep everything locked up in my luggage and that way I know I’m not going to forget anything in the safe.😊
Careful of putting necessary items in a jacket pocket. I left my jacket on accident at security and thank goodness I didn’t have important stuff in it. I use a rfid waist belt small and concealed.
The thing is you still have to take off that waist belt and put it in a bin to go through x-ray, and I’m more than likely would forget something small like that rather than a vest or jacket. Plus you just have to be always cognizant of where you are most important items are I don’t like leaving my phone, my wallet, and my passport in a bin by itself or anyone could just see and walk off with it I’d rather be concealed with a jacket or vest😊
@@JoanneMacg in my experience, I have never been asked to put those in liquids bag, but some people have said that when they go through London Heathrow airport, they have been asked to do that. However, they are coming out with new scanners now that are able to detect liquids contents and they’re becoming less strict about it but if you want to be on the safe side, put it in a quart size bag😊
I put a link to everything, including the waist pack in my video description. Unfortunately, RUclips no longer allows us to paste any links into comments.
With it packed as it is right now, I would not be able to put in my phone. I would have to remove something from one of the larger pockets to get that to fit in there.. that is why I always carry my phone in a pocket whether it’s a vest or in my pants pocket. I’m always pulling it out to use it, so I keep it very accessible in one of those pockets in my vest pants . you could always carry less and put it into that fanny pack.
Thanks! A lot of times these videos are just to give you some idea of things that could be useful to you and depending on where I’m going I’ll change things out as to what I’m bringing. For example, if I’m going to China, I’m not going to bring that multitool because they don’t allow you to carry things like that there.. but it’s great that you can pick and choose what you want to stick in your cute little leather waist pack😊

Plus you just have to be always cognizant of where you are most important items are I don’t like leaving my phone, my wallet, and my passport in a bin by itself or anyone could just see and walk off with it I’d rather be concealed with a jacket or vest😊
Great video ~
Thank you for not including that hiphop intermission music
Thank you! 🤣
Do lipsticks count as paste/liquid and need to go in liquids quart bag?
@@JoanneMacg in my experience, I have never been asked to put those in liquids bag, but some people have said that when they go through London Heathrow airport, they have been asked to do that. However, they are coming out with new scanners now that are able to detect liquids contents and they’re becoming less strict about it but if you want to be on the safe side, put it in a quart size bag😊
@@TheoryofSimple thanks so much for reply! I am learning so much from your videos!
@@JoanneMacg you’re very welcome and I’m really happy you’re getting some great hacks for my videos! Truly appreciate your feedback😊💕
Link for bag? 😊
It’s in the description. If RUclips would let me, I’d post it. Sorry.
I put a link to everything, including the waist pack in my video description. Unfortunately, RUclips no longer allows us to paste any links into comments.
Does your phone actually fit well in the bag?
With it packed as it is right now, I would not be able to put in my phone. I would have to remove something from one of the larger pockets to get that to fit in there.. that is why I always carry my phone in a pocket whether it’s a vest or in my pants pocket. I’m always pulling it out to use it, so I keep it very accessible in one of those pockets in my vest pants . you could always carry less and put it into that fanny pack.
There is no way I would use all of that stuff! Cute though!
It is way too small for my needs. I like to put snacks in it etc
I have a separate bag with snacks. This is my “extra” carry on bag😉
