  • Another day another field, and this time joined by Martyn.
    This is a previously undetected field and the farmer tells me there’s an old drovers road which runs across it. A drove road was the route ‘cowboys’ or what we call ‘drovers’ used to take whilst ‘driving’ their cattle to the market in town.
    Fingers crossed the drovers had holey pockets!!

    15+ years ago, I visited a very old place named the Drovers Inn. Located north of Loch Lomond. I had no idea until today, what a Drover was. Just another reason why you have 32K subscribers! I never miss a video!
