Thank you for all of your hard work on the videos. The quality of the videos is magnificent. Perfect music, terrific editing and camera work. Oh yes, awesome finds, also!!! 😊
It's always a joy to see you, Hans. The only thing I don't love about your videos is when your closing music starts, because that signals it's over. (In English, dice is plural, and die is singular.)
Hello from Wiltshire in England Hans , Enjoyed your lovely video ,the field and forest beyond are stunning ,and my two favourite finds are the decorated watch winder and the scalloped ,round brooch like artefact ..love your videos xxxShaz
I'm happy to hear that. It was a wonderful sunset and I stayed until the moon had risen. it was a giant full moon that evening. thank you for watching and for your support :)
Your videos are the most anticipated of all the detectorist I follow. You always have these settings of serenity and you deliver this calmness in your discoveries that is inspiring and I have to say,in a sense, comforting to the soul, can't explain it. Oh, by the way, dont let this comment give you the big head. Nah, just kidding, lol, you rock dude, be cool 😎, peace ✌️
G'day again from Australia Hans. I glad to watch you out detecting again in the corn fields and join you on the finds you unearthed. Best of luck on your future searches. Andy
thank you for watching and for commenting my friend :) the heart is so small that I couldn't use my pinpointer to locate it in the soil. I had to use the old "grab earth and swipe over the coil" method to find it :D
@@TerraGermaniaTG Hey it's a pleasure Hans - and yes, I love the 'old skool' method passing soil over the coil... 🙏 Take care matey, and thanks as always for the videos... Bobby 🐁
Great to see you back on that permission and a few interesting finds, did like the small dice and the smallest ever silver heart. Enjoyed watching the finds as the were found. GL for your next hunt 🤞👍👋 Tony
hello tony, I'm glad you enjoyed the video even though the finds are more on the modest side. thank you for watching and for your support my friend :) all the best and happy hunting, hans
I love watching your videos Hans. I wish we had Roman artifacts here in the US. The best we can hope for is 1600’s. My oldest find is a pewter button with shank, possibly late 1600’s to mid 1700’s.
And even here 1600's finds are very rare. I live in MD and see some really old permissions, but there just wasn't that much hard money around back then. Silver is very rare and if one does find a large copper, it's usually so smooth you can't get a date. When Hans pulled that Bronze Age spearpoint a couple years back, I almost cried. Oh, just to have a chance to find something like that!!!
@@calliecooke1817 - for sure. I live in SC but was invited up to detect around Winchester, VA, which is where I found the pewter button, among other things. In SC the oldest thing I found that I can definitely date is a 1754 KGII half penny. One other thing I can date is my GW Inaugural button I found on 2/25/22. It is, of course, 1789.
@@robbertram3310 My family is all from The Shenandoah Valley. Did you know Winchester was the most disputed town of the Civil War? It changed hands over 90 times. If you have friends in the Valley, you should be able to get on Civil War sites, Middletown and Strasburg, a little farther up the Valley from Winchester both saw large engagements, There's stuff everywhere!!!
There's actually a chance that you guys may have some Viking finds way out there along your Eastern Seaboard. Whether this is a certainty or not or whether the finds will still exist even if they actually did make it there is quite a contentious subject though.
Hi Hans, Hugs... yes it was a slow hunt but...the silver heart... beautiful. You are at the top of your game when it comes to video making...very bright and colorful...serene. You know, I remember you making a spooky video or two for Halloween... I really enjoyed those. We all get busier as we grow older... You take care and if I don't see you, Happy Halloween! Beste, Anna
hello anna :) I'm happy that you appreciate my filming. it means a lot to me as I want to become better. I would love to make another halloween video but i fear I haven't got the time. these videos are fun to make. thank you for your support my friend. all the best, take care and hugs, hans

Always nice to watch one of your videos. What a beautiful spot to hunt, especially in the evening. It looked like it was a beautiful night. are you absolutely positive that that is a keyhole cover? I have seen similar designs and they were mirror votives from Roman times forward. It looks very similar to the design that they would’ve used. Whatever it is, it’s a beautiful find. Thanks for sharing.~Paul
hello paul :) thank you for watching, I'm glad you enjoy my videos. I'm not 100% sure it is a key hole cover. unfortunately I don't think it is older than the 1800s though. greetings, hans
I enjoyed the hunt very much, it’s always exciting to think about what you might find next. For some reason, the little watch winders intrigue me. Thank you very much.
