not seen from you in a while.
Hope you and family are well and most prosperous just now.
God Bless 🍀
thank you for your kind comment. I'm fine and I'm planning to upload soon again. All the best to you and yours, too!
Always enjoyable to come along with you on this beautiful footpath. My favorite find, too, is your Wren Farthing. Your excitement is contagious! And, the birds singing around you as you shared your joy of the little Wren! Lovely!
Thank you my friend, I'm happy to hear that :)
I was walking through the garden of an English country house once a few years back now along a path of wells manicure grass cut through the middle of a wild meadow.
Just as I came to a shaded area, I heard the sound of some tiny tiny birds.
As I stopped to look, 3 of these tiny tiny birds flew up from the grass and landed on the front of my T-Shirt!
They were 3 baby Wren's playing with one another without a care in the world!
Their mum on the other hand, sat atop a branch to my left, was not so careless 😂
Maflgical moment to say the least.
Glad you found one for yourself Hans!
Wow, that was indeed a magical moment. I feel sorry for people who can't get joy from nature. They are missing soo much! Thank you for watching my friend!
@@TerraGermaniaTG you’re more than welcome Hans.
It was a chance encounter…I guess you are indeed correct, to first have and encounter, you must first be there :)
Hans! I really must insist that you leave your regular job, come out here to Hollywood, and become a cinematographer! You have a natural gift. What amazing finds - I am so thrilled for you. 20 minutes flits by watching your beautiful videos. Thank you.
haha.. I love my job too much. Making my videos is not only restricted by time. It's also weather, free fields, permissions and I also have to be in the mood for filming. Thank you for watching and for appreciating what I do :)
Well done Hans, another beautiful video. The Wren is the smallest British bird which is why it was chosen for the smallest British coin. Andy
Thank you for watching and for the info :)
Enjoyed watching your adventure from UK 🇬🇧
That crack down the middle of the coin made my day. So so pretty!
Hello from Lithuania. I think your's videos are the best quality among detectoring theme, always satisfying looking new episodes

Hi Hans, how pleasing it is seeing you turning up a English coin that we named "Thripney Joey", with the date 1950 I was 13 years young then. You never cease to amaze me, your attitude and comments when explaing a find are first class, thank you, I look forward to your next venture in this interesting hobby.
Thank you, I appreciate you kind comment :)
I watch many RUclips Channels, but when you put out a video, Hans, I watch that one first 👍
I bet your heart was pounding when you saw that 10 Reichspfenning.
The damage to the silver coin looks quite old.
Glad you found a bucket-lister with that Farthing.
Thanks for sharing your adventure. 😀
Thank you for your kind comment my friend. I'm happy to hear that :)
G’day Hans
Great to see you again out detecting I always look forward to seeing your latest video.
Thank you.

Thank you for staying tuned, Andy :) I appreciate your support!
Congrats on all your finds !!!!!! That Wren coin sure looks Good !!!!!
Thank you my friend :)
Oh Hans...it is great to be out on the hunt with you...always a pleasure no matter what you find....the serenity is more than enough!
That takes the pressure down :) Thank you my friend!
Always waiting for your beautiful videos. Nice finds and I am on July 7,8,9 searching in Germany in Rhauderfehn in the Leer district. I hope that my search there will yield equally beautiful finds.
Thank you my friend, I'm happy to hear that :) I guess you know about the detecting laws in Germany? I don't want you to get in trouble. Cheers,
Hans
I literally live in the middle of a wheat field. You're giving me ideas. Watching from Ankara, Turkiye 🇹🇷 ❤️
Hello Hans 🌞 19m 31s of Pure Peace & Joy...Such A Beautiful Path & The Buckle You Found is Fantastic & The Wren Coin is Darling...I Have in My Garden in England A Round Slab Depicting the The Wren Farthing 1956, Was So Wonderful to See the Real Coin. Thank You Hans Your Video Content Is Always a Delight 🌳🌞💚
Thank you for your kind comment my friend :)
Nice to see you back again Hans. As an Englishman I enjoyed your delight at finding the farthing. obviously coins of that era are quite common here - I have a drawer full of them (from detecting) but it was fate I think that you discovered one as you like them so much. I've never found a German coin here, but strangely I have dug up two old Chinese coins, and one from Belgium!
I know of some detectorists in England who found Reichspfennige. Maybe one day you stumble on one of these :)
@@TerraGermaniaTG Actually I do have some but not from metal detecting - my grandfather brought some back at the end of the Second World War as souvenirs.
Great finds glad you got to find a coin you admired
Hi Hans. Great video again. I was pleased to see you pause to listen to the robin. Your joy at finding the wren farthing put tears in my eyes. Tony
Thank you for watching and for your kind comment my friend :)
Your split coin reminded me of the ancient practice of cutting coins in two, using them for half the value of the whole coin. Thank you for another beautiful show.
Yes, they actually did that here, too :) Thank you for watching and for your kind comment!
FYI...I use an app called Merlin. (There are others I'm sure.) It identifies birds with pictures or most interestingly, by the bird call. It's amazing to me especially if I'm away from home and I ID new species I don't normally hear. The app filters well through background noise. I live in the northeast United States.
I had a similar app before but it didn't work well. Maybe I should take a look at yours. Thank you for watching!
Lucky you, beautiful path. 🇨🇦
Great finds! Congrats!
Always nice to watch Hans thank you.
Interesting finds as always, thank you for sharing.
Great to see you back Hans, love your nature scenery and the music, plus your great finds.

Love your calm ways of talking and just detecting. Danke für diese videos.
I'm happy to hear that, thank you! Gern geschehen :)
As always: Calm, cool, & collective 🤙
He would probably make a very good pilot, as I agree, he is very calm under pressure; however, he does explode with excitement occasionally with an awesome find.
As always good video. Apart from the things found, good visual complements such as the one with the robin and the one with the field with warm light in the afternoon. Thanks for sharing.
Its always a joy to find your video on my list. Like desert, I save it for last. Well done, Hans.
Thank you for your support my friend :)
Oh BTW Hans There Were 960 Wren Farthings to One Sterling Pound 🤗
That makes total empirial sense.
Okay..haha... That is quite a lot! Thank you for watching and for the fun fact :D

Great finds! Just read about the bronze age sword unearthed in the State of Bavaria. Best of luck to you this summer!
Thank you :) Amazing sword, isn't it? When i saw it I couldn't believe it. It looks so different from everything bronze age I have ever seen. All the best,
Hans
@@TerraGermaniaTG Hope you get to find one yourself! Still recall your bronze spear head....also very cool!

Hans, it's always great to see a new video. Love the video quality..
Thank you for watching and for your kind comment my friend :)
Congratulations Hans! Good luck and happy hunting!
Tree roots, animals burrowing, and frost heave can all cause the strange stratigraphy of various objects. The effectiveness of those factors to positions items can be amazing.Thankyou for the wonderful video Hans.Enjoy your day.Harry.
Yes, so many factors. I can't be lazy on this path, I have to dig everything :D Thank you for watching my friend!

Wie ich es von Dir gewohnt bin, ein sehr schönes Video, und sehr interessante Funde👍
Danke dir, das freut mich zu hören :)
Great treasures and wonderful cinematography as usual! Thank you for showing the little songbird! It always amazes me that something so little can be so loud! Coincidentally I bought that exact Pulsar watch yesterday at an estate sale. I believe it was from 1984. Thanks for taking us with you!!
The robin indeed had a piercingly loud song. Amazing :D Thank you for wtching!
I felt excited about the Wren Farthing as you did. I watch English mudlarking videos and how I would be excited to find a blue bottle or an old clay pipe. It won't happen here where I live though.
Loved that wren farthing! Thanks kindly for another video.
Danke fürs Mitnehmen. Das war wieder eine schöne Tour mit interessanten Funden. Das Rotkehlchen hat so schön gesungen und die Musik war auch schön.
Thank you for sharing. Again this was a beautiful Tour with interesting finds. The Red Robin sang beautifully and I enjoyed the music.
Danke fürs Mitkommen :) Es freut mich, dass dir mein Video und die Musik gefallen haben. Viele Grüße aus Frankfurt,
Hans
We look forward to your wonderfully crafted videos and enjoy your excitement when finding little treasures. As a child , I had a few Wren Farthings in my glass bear bank and loved them, too.
Thank you, I'm happy to hear that :)
Hi Hanssss!!! Thank you for another wonderful video and taking us on this journey with you.... I think it's just now dawning on me all the walking that is involved making your videos...my God, man! I, too have a Wren Farling... But mine was not found, but given to me. You sure were lucky finding it, makes it so much more special. Big hugs, your friend, Anna
Hello Anna,
haha.. I hope no one is ever watching me behind a tree when I'm filming. It must look like I'm crazy. It is indeed a lot of work and a lot of walking. Thank you for staying tuned my friend, I appreciate your support! All the best and big hugs back from your friend, Hans
Hallo Hans,

Sehr schöner Vergleich :) Danke fürs Anschauen!
Hans, you are so lucky to have so much history at your fingertips. It's always a pleasure to watch your video's. Cheers from Australia.
No doubt. I'd give anything to have that kind of history where I live.

Hello Hans, So good to see you today, From Alaska, USA; Taikuu for taking us along with you for the search for treasure, in their own way each of your finds is a treasure. I really love that tiny die.
Thank you for watching and for your kind comment my friend :)
Always glad to watch! 👍🏻
Wonderful video as always. Maybe the Dice is from a charm bracelet? The wren farthing is a surprise find, for sure. HH
Thank you my friend :) I think you are right. A charm bracelet is more likely. Thank you for the hint :) HH and all the best,
Hans
Also one of my favorite coins Wee Jenny Wren! And the old thrupenny piece with the Thrift Plant on it!
I've seen that, too :) Lovely coins!
Hello Hans , thanks again for your lovely recording they really chill me out, keep up the good work and be lucky. All the best 👍 Steve.
It's always a great day when Hans publishes a video! I have an idea... would it be possible and/or desirable to stabilize the silver coin with some hard, clear wax going along the crack? Then place it in a plastic coin holder (individual container)? If no, that's okay. I'm just trying to think of a way to be able enjoy looking at the coin without worrying anymore about the crack.
I'm happy to hear that my friend :) Thank you! The coin is actually more stable than I thought. But I will probably put it in a coin container just to be on the safe side.
@@TerraGermaniaTG Excellent!
Very special finds you manage. So nice to see these very old items. Thank you for showing us.
