A tip to lessen the fare on trikes is one to not ride alone. Most of the times if you are alone they will make you pay for the empty seat. They wont say that they included the other seats and just say 200,150.. outright. Another tip, before taking a ride if you have met a real local or like the owner of where you are staying ask for the fares esp the places you want to go to. Ask for "clean" Carenderia(the dollar meal places).

Sometimes it's a blessing in disguise to travel alone. Coz i notice with some vlogger couples, they interact less with the locals coz they have each other. I can see in your vlogs you make more friends coz you're alone.
This is 100% true… when I travel with friends, I don’t speak to nearly as many locals, and I’m often less aware of the new town/city around me because I’m engaged in conversation with them. You can miss a lot that way.

ooo good tip thank you!
I am surprised to see how beautiful the water is. Same nice color of your eyes. Chicken afritada is good!!!! Enjoy your meal sir 😋😘☺ God bless you!
God bless your trip handsome. Sorry for the expensive travel cost here in the philippines.
the last-minute flights are where it really gets expensive! This isn't terrible in comparison
Thank you so much for visiting my home town Siquijor Island
Thank you!! Just posted a new Siquijor video!
Also, those type of restaurants are called Karendirya. Usually mom and pop small restaurants. They are good and cheap
Like the one in the Lilioan port? That’s all I want to eat now! Haha
I I'm kinda happy to see your now 19k plus subscribers. More subscriber to come Sir.😊 I always enjoy your vlogs. Travelling alone seems to be ...lonely😆 but the way filipinos welcomes you. Your like travelling in large group of happy people.😊 more power, stay safe and God Bless as always!❤
Thank you so much! Yes, it definitely can be lonely. Luckily the locals often talk to me!
I'm from Philippines move here in Modesto California last 2019. My place is in Davao City and my wife is from Cebu City. We're planning to get there on October this year from vacation. I hope to see you there. Just try to visit my place in Davao it cool place from vacation. Stay safe and have a good day. Have fun bro.
From Dumaguete you can go on the fastcraft to Bohol...
oh really? I may do that then... either there or Siargao.. tough decision...
Best after Siquijor, go to Bohol. Then back to Cebu. You might want to do Cebu North like Bantayan and Malapascua. Then from Cebu City, plane to Siargao.
Really enjoy watching your videos.
Thank you!!
Thanks for visiting cebu phillipines..
Hope u come back soon....
Your living my dream, thanksfor the vidz...Tomorrow ill retire and travel from Batanes to Jolo.💪💪💪 I wish!
Yes. Always give time allowance when booking tickets in Philippines, especially if it is from-island-to-island travel. It's also cheaper that way.
Philippine travels can get too exhausting. You'll meed every bit of patience.
I'm ready to go...thanks for sharing
Your number of subscribers grew so fast and is already approaching 20K.
It really has!! I’m super grateful for all of the support here!
that is what you should do if you cant get it in youre own country come tho the philippines and get rich.
@@swissgaming4186 fyi, travel vloggers like him who doesnt have so much subscribers spends more than what they are earning from their videos. Kung ayaw mo manood wag, pero pasalamt nlng tayo at my bumibisita p dto n mga foreigners at nkkpG bgay hanP buhay sa mga tao dto.
@@swissgaming4186 bitter get lost...
@@rosebrown2267 True. I explained lengthily in another video to an anti-travel vlogger why i support these vloggers coming here. Before, i was kinda like that too. But when i realized the boost they give to our tourism industry, i started actively supporting them na. And i realized too that whatever their motives are, the effect is the same. They still help promote the country... And also, ofcourse they need subs and views. That's how they will earn. Don't we all? In coming here, they kill 2 birds with one stone. They get to enjoy the beauty of our country, and earn too, which also funds their travels so they can show more of what the PH can offer. It's a symbiosis where both vlogger and country benefit each other.
Touristy prices already?! Wow! Good for the locals there, but I hope everything was worth it for you! Thank you for sharing! God bless you for the joy you bring with your vlogs!
Just want to remind you sir to be more careful in choosing people to be with. In traveling or paying something, sometimes if possible don't show them large amount of money because nowadays a lot of crime happened related to money. I'm not saying that all are like that just some. Just be careful.
I done Enjoying watching all your video about Phillippines keep safe and enjoy 🙏🥰
Wowww!!! at the port. The water is so clear BLUE

It’s super chill……..OWWW stubbed my toe lol. another cool vid man.
friend, suer, you did best !
Haha thank you!
please dont hesitate to ask locals for assistance especially for motorcycle ride, or any other transportation to get to your destination..
I like the format of your video, I watched the whole thing
Thanks for all the tips👍. Yeah, gotta have a little patience going through all commute. Food's looks good. That's a cool helmet man, it's more like Top Gun...lol. Nice spot on the beach ⛱️ 👌 🇵🇭.
Hahahah.. top gun is a bit better than dumb and dumber. Definitely need some patience, but overall it wasn’t too bad! I would just get tickets in advance if traveling on the weekend next time !
I probably would of gotten hotel relaxed in dumagetti then taken first morning boat.....I love your channel
wow! improving the tagalog 👏👏👏
Hahah.. still not great
I watch these videos of the Philippines because I miss the place so much. I keep working out when I can afford to retire there but each time I think I can inflation has me questioning it.
Just take the plunge. As long as you have your pension, then you are good to go. You can already live in a $1000 monthly pension as long as you live in the province. Of course the higher your pension, the better your quality of life is.
@@wavemaker2077 I have another nine years to go before I get my state pension but I do have a private pension and savings
@@michaelmcknight2305 Is your private pension enough to support you in the Philippines? Nine years of waiting is indeed still far in the future. If you can be a vlogger like Jonathan, then you can already live in the Philippines.
@@wavemaker2077 unfortunately it’s not enough so I need to work for another couple of years
@@michaelmcknight2305 If your job can allow you to be an expat in the Philippines, then problem solved. Does your company have an office in the Philippines? You can ask to be reassigned to the Philippines. Then you are earning a US salary while living in the Philippines. If there is none, maybe you can volunteer to open a branch in the Philippines. hahaha.
i miss the Philippines!!!
keep it up and take care ENJOY!!
I keep waiting for ur blog😅please don't make us wait..its hard to wait😅that was a tired transportation ha...can't wait to see the next
Haha, I just filmed as much as I could in Siquijor and didn’t edit much there. Now I’m in edit/post mode. I should have 2 or 3 Siquijor videos coming soon!
looks like you are pretty much familiar to travel like a "lokal" in the Phil. Enjoy
Welcome to the Philippines, visit Ilocos Region too.Keep safe
Siquijor was once a part of Negros Oriental where Dumaguete City is the capital city of Dumaguete. There in Dumaguete City s is found a first protestant university built by the Americans in 1901.
oh interesting. I didn't know that!
The first university outside manila and the first American university in Asia Silliman University with mostly young population if Schools are open. Some bloggers visited west of cebu travelled back to cebu in lengthy bus ride and off to the airport when in fact in an hour they'll be in dumaguete and to the airport to manila.
