    I love how small tech is getting now. I remember dreaming of stuff like this, and now its a reality.

      Indeed, i actually forgot to show the vesa mount and adapter this device comes along with. Like that, you can easily install it to the back of your TV or Monitor, so you have it a very clean.

    Great video MashTec! One of the main issues I've encountered with KinHank devices is the number of duplicate games on the device, how did this build fare? The game emulation performance seemed decent, I'm impressed that Wii U and Switch played as well as they did. Seems like a good step for KinHank in-general. Without a doubt, your attention to detail is un-matched in presentation and delivery. Excellent job, my friend!

      Thank you for your feedback Jon. Always appreciated :)
      Indeed there are lot‘s of "duplicates" coming with this machine so the absolute number of games beed to be reduced by about 30%. It depends on what you call a duplicate. Some games are available in different versions and languages USA, EU, JAPAN. Since this gets shipped internationally some people might be happy to find a favorite game in their native language. And you can always sort out duplicates from the drive if you like.
      I was also impressed by the gaming performance of this machine especially when it comes to demanding systems like PS3 and Switch.
      Thanks for watching, looking forward to your next video my friend! :)

      Hi dude, Gamecube didn‘t run well after a few tests, but PS2 runs almost perfect. I‘m currently plying around with Batocera on this device and it‘s a real game changer. I will come with a video about it after i‘m done with all tests.

    I can see a lot of stuttering and screen tearing on your PS2 and PSP gameplay. Is this due to your video capture? Or does the gameplay look the same as your capture?

      Sometimes it can depend on the emulator being used can take some playing around to get some games working

    • @MashTec
      @MashTec  4 месяца назад +1

      Hi Wizdude and thanks for your feedback. As i was watching the video again on RUclips i recognized the same. As i tested the games there was no stuttering in video or sound. It seems like my video capture card added these interrupts :( (cheap 10$ USB Stick). Actually the only system inrecognized screen tearing was on Sega Dreamcast, playing Marvel vs. Capcom. All other systems ran perfectly good except the high end systems (PS3, Wii, Wii u and Switch)

      @@Badger8200 Indeed, i plan to come up with a follow-up video about this. Unfortunately these Ready-To-Go systems ain‘t pre-configured very well when it comes to emulation settings and tweaks. Most come with just common or default settings that are not optimized.

      @@MashTec thanks for letting me know. I thought it may have been the capture card because you weee commenting on some systems that it was really good. Thanks for the video. Cheers 😀

    Hey ! Cool video, can you change the core of n64 for better performance ? Or still emulation is going to be poor on n64 ?

    • @MashTec
      @MashTec  3 месяца назад +2

      Hey dude, thanks for your question. I wanted to play around with the settings and make a follow-up video to show how to tweak them for better performance. Unfortunately i haven‘t found the time to dive into it yet.
      But still, to answer your question, you can change the core. As far as i see it supports Mupen and Parallel core. So there is potential to tweak ;)

      Meanwhile i started looking into performance improvements. I installed Batocera to a stick and use it with this powerhouse. And so far everyhing works way better and smoother. E.g. N64 007 Goldeneye now works smooth as butter. It‘s a day and night difference!

    I have an arcade cabinet. Can I set this up with the arcade controllers?

    • @MashTec
      @MashTec  4 месяца назад

      Hey dude, what connector does your controller have? USB and Bluetooth will work directly with this box. If you have any other connector on your controller there might be an adaptor to USB you could use. Thanks to the small form factor this Mini PC definitely is a good choice to build it into a cabinet 👍🏻

    • @MashTec
      @MashTec  2 месяца назад +1

      Yes dude, it goes the regular way. Just copy your PS2 roms over to the associated ps2 folder and you find it in the PS2 section. Thanks to the included scraper function you cal also simply add box art and preview video. Enjoy! ;)

      Hey dude, i‘m just experimenting with Batocera on this device to improve performance. This will come in a follow-up video ;) And i can spoiler that much, every N64 game i threw on it was running as smooth as butter now.

    why does no one show RAM?? is it upgradable??? hello??

    • @MashTec
      @MashTec  Месяц назад

      Hey dude, thanks for this question. If you like to upgrade the ram you have to remove the mainboard as well. But it ain‘t that easy to remove.
      To answer your question: yes you can replace the Ram, but it only has one slot.

      @@MashTec This mini pc uses "m.2 SATA 3" . It does NOT use "m.2 NVME.". M.2 NVME will NOT work on this.. You have to use m.2 SATA 3.. you can see it on the sticker on the drive.
      m.2 SATA 3 is much slower then m.2 NVME as well.

    $320 is a budget system? My $100 Ouya can emulate all these games

    • @MashTec
      @MashTec  4 месяца назад +2

      Hey dude, thanks for your feedback. Still does your system come with a decent wireless Controller, pre-configured systems and games, 8GB DDR5 Ram, Win 11 Pro OS, 4 USB ports, HDMI out and display port, dual Gigabit and dual WiFi,..?
      I agree there are cheaper systems with similar or same Processor but you have to compare it with all additional features to be fair. And with the coupon code "MashTec" you can safe another 60$ off your order, so you are about 260$. Do you have a link to this Ouya system?
