What a great review! Kinhank now is starting to look promising. It will be interesting to see if more improved consoles from them will come out because of it.
For 274 usd? Thats crazy. At that price point you can get the AMR5 with Ryzen 7 5700U and 16GB RAM. Which is miles ahead of this. If you really want to stick to N100, then FIREBAT T8 Plus with fast m.2 ssd and 16GB@4800Mhz LPDDR5, would be far better choice. At half the price.
Would like to see a review on the Batocera Retropie Epic Mini PC Retro Game Console - 1TB (1000GB) Complete Build 70+ Consoles - 170,000 + Games that would be great.
Have you tried those Hard drives you can get?, thats a bit cheaper then this and you can plug into your laptop/PC, apprently you can run up to PS2 really well as well as some other consoles and systems. Was just curious if you review those? A handheld with the Mugen and Open boar games would be cool
For ps3 a hybrid sata drive is perfect for game on real console… I haven’t tried it on pc… ssd on the ps3 console actually doesn’t make much a difference as opposed to sata hybrid drives…
On a PS3 it would not matter since your loading games from disk. But on this Mini PC it would matter, it would greatly speed up the load times of Roms since they load from hard drive and a SSD is definitely faster...@@rayojordan2838
At least they had the cooler controller. If someone wants Resident Evil 4, they can just do it on the PS2 emulator. I know the Gamecube can be touch and go. Great review again Wicked!
Thank you so much with the value review. And I have question about the HD do you think if we upgrade it to a SSD it will improve the performance in handling heavy Games such as Donkey Kong Country Returns. Thank you.
I want to play Xbox360 games, Wiiu, PS3, every console, and arcade games before those consoles. What should I buy? I don't care about 4k or 120fps. I'm trying to avoid spending too much as well. I don't need it to do anything else.
Can you put batocera on it? Is it easy to down load other emulators on to this device and then use them to play on the kinhank??? I'm new to the world of emulation and i'd like to play at least up the PlayStation 2 games and if I could play some PlayStation 3 by messing around with the advanced options. I would be perfectly happy. I was thinking of getting this device anyway, I was hoping you would review it. Thank you.
Hey, new subscriber here. Great content really helpful for us gamers. My question is, which game stick would you recommend? I want N64, Gameboy and Sega games on it. I don't mind if it has PS1 and Atari aswell as the rest. My budget is $100. Which is the best game stick?
Ok. Let's just say I want a gamestick specifically and I want one that has as many games as possible from as many various consoles as possible. Which would be the best gamestick then?
I just bought one a few weeks ago and it works great, Im new to this stuff so im still learning about emulators, I have a few questions, can I download more games on it and batocera and my saturn works like its in fast forward mode, Is there any way I can fix that, Thank you for doing your reviews it helped me a lot in deciding which one to buy
Okay, disclaimers: I'm a nearly 40 mom who hasn't played a video game since ps2 in 2006. I've had a back injury, which may be heading toward surgery and a Loooooong recovery. I thought to myself, "self, this would be easier if i had a ps2" looked into it and damn that ish is expensive. Then 3ish days ago I learned the word emulator. And that some blessed souls have preserved the turbografx 16 (the console I grew up with) and its possible to have both tg16 and ps2 at the same time! And everything in between. Actual question: this appears to be truly plug and play, straight into the tv without needing a pc to run it through. And can play ps2. I know it can be done by yourself and yadayada i do not have that skill set, and with two 5year olds i do not have the time or inclination to learn. Is this what it seems?
Update: I did buy it. Overall, I am loving it. It is pretty much plug and play, there is some stuff you have to do the first time you turn it on, but it's pretty simple. And you do need a mouse. The controls for some of the Snes games and turbo grafix are a bit wonky, but I'm getting that figured out.
Hey brother great video I have a question i also purcjased recently a kinhank mini pc and games run very slow not retrobat itself, but the actual games on the emulators regardless of the emulator they all run slow like lagging style. I tried mk2 on mame and also on snes and it literally took me also 3 minutes from selecting a character to start playing do you havr any idea why this can be happening? Retrobat runs good, is not slow at all, but the game playing is
Same thing for me. I have a tremendous amount of screen tear and the N64 games are bad sound and framerate wise. I switched the emulator setting like he did but same results. My experience has not been like his or others I've seen
@@isaredd3029 i contacted kinhank though their supporta channer(email) they say to turn off the VSINC option in the fronend developers option and it work for me. Try doung the same thing and also of it happens on N64, try on that individual emulator settinds.
Microphone on the front!? No, that's a CMOS reset button actually. Also for the price and performance, you're better off getting a deal on a Beelink Ryzen Mini PC
I get a lot of screen tearing from anything on NES to N64. And N64 is giving me a lot of audio slowness and framerate issues. What's the best settings to have set to optimize my experience?
High score save that is a really good question. You should look into Mame Emulator. Did see a topic on reddit regarding this. www.reddit.com/r/MAME/comments/8k9ua6/how_to_have_mame_remember_high_scores/
I bought one for the n64 games . They play soo slow i cant even play them. Anyone know anyway to fix this? I just opened it and out the box the old stuff works.. but i bought it to play n64 man :(
Can any of you gamers help an old fart who’s just trying to play old Nintendo games? I got this thing and tried to switch the A and B buttons, but went into the controller mapping configuration and I fucked it all up. Is there anyway to reset this to factory settings?

Thanks this is actually super helpful info
Agree only take note this is all in one package and totally overpriced.
If you build your own N100 you can do it for maybe around 150 usd 😅
Where can buyed it :)
find one with the 11th gen n6100 cpu, it has a bigger IGPU, it does emulation even better then the n100@@juancarlosmurguia97
These are actually some really good prices. He used to be in the $600+ range back in the day.
Not bad option but you can get higher specs mini pc and build your own system for the same price but if u are lazy then this is a good option.❤
I'm definitely lazy lmao
🧐
A new Kinhank!
Well, I guess these things are a bit expensive because you can buy 2 M17s (the cheap handheld with emulec). Over all, it is great 😃👍
The gamesir controllers are good quality. They are on par with 8bitdo or close to them anyway.
They really seem to get better and better. 🙂
And cheaper ! 😳

Glad you're reviewing this, I ordered one yesterday in the sale
Nice. I like this more than what we were seeing before.
You should clone that HGST 5400RPM HDD over to a SSD and watch your load times decrease significantly for PS3.
For ps3 a hybrid sata drive is perfect for game on real console… I haven’t tried it on pc… ssd on the ps3 console actually doesn’t make much a difference as opposed to sata hybrid drives…

Get the 20$ Kinhank HDD and plug it into your Laptop or PC.
It plays up to PS2 flawlessly on my PC
@davidherbert-saez1949 Kinhank super console 500g is the name.
It's not a console tho, just a 500GB HDD with 100k games
Thanks for including naughty skipping!
Poowwwwkiddy! Oh wait, it's the Super Console X PC Lite-but-better!
Whahaha 🤣
😂😂😂 Poooowkiddy!

Does this come with games installed or have you got to put them on

Hi, I am looking for some retro console under 50$. Which one is the best now? Miyo Mini, R36S, powkiddy r39 pro... ? Ot another ? Thx for help :)
KINHANK HAI DUUUU KEEEEEEN!!
at the risk of sounding completely new to this but is this plug and play straight into a tv? is there a pc needed?
Good performance
👍👍

celeron will crawl on indie pc games
Not a bad CPU clock speed for a mini

Let me see if I can manage the time to look into the batocera.
Also have some other cool cheap options.
@@WickedGamerCollector sweet ty 😊
Any web site with the list of the games that’s on it ! Has it got Jurassic park rampage for the mega drive
that's awesome I don't need it yet ❤
Are the games already installed?
Which is better this unit or the super console x3
Any idea if this supports table top arcade mode? Thanks for the great video.

For N64 get into the mini pc's.
Begin with the N100 minimum this can run N64 native.
Ok. Let's just say I want a gamestick specifically and I want one that has as many games as possible from as many various consoles as possible. Which would be the best gamestick then?
not bad actually

Have you got a link to it
Wicked is this device better? is it similar to my newly purchased Dell 3060 i5 8500t 16Gb ram
You should look into cpu comparison.
Google .. 8500t vs n100
Does it support vibration?
I did notice rumble with Game Cube.
Nothing with other systems.

Retro-Bat is what runs on this .. maybe you pressed a speed up function.
Looks like this has already been surpassed by the X5 pro?

Retro-Bat is the front end.
Is this emulator have ps2 game ?

N100 mini pc are mostly used for home severs or DIY routers.
For it's price has very bad performance.

The fact i need a whole computer for it to work is a turn off. I only like box or usb stick to tv only.
