    I relate to the not reacting emotionally being a good thing. My ex has ADHD and is a textbook dismissive avoidant and would have essentially no emotional reaction to anything I told him. He would not care and/or forget a few minutes - an hour later, so I could tell him anything and everything on my mind, which was therapeutic for me.
    I usually need to keep things to myself to avoid upsetting others.
