Leigh Anne American Focused?

  • Leigh Anne is dropping 'Don't Say, Love'. And I've noticed her career is inching into the American market. This is understandable, UK RnB acts like Flo, Jorja Smith, Ella Mai, and more recently pop act Pink Panthress have found major success stateside. I think Leigh Anne might want a piece of the pie. So I'll be theorizing if Leigh Anne is positioning her career to be more American-focused, why she would do this, and if she can succeed in gaining a US foothold.
P.S. I'll also talk about what I'd like to see in her debut era.

I actually think her first single Don't Say Love is directed to the UK to establish her and expand her fanbase. Then she might expand to the US and other areas. Her management and label have said they are pushing for her to have a similar success as Dua Lipa (which she has the exact same teams as Dua did), and make her a global star. They've said a few times so I'm guessing they will really push for her wherever they can, plus they're giving her A LOT of budget a good promo already in just a week of announcing her solo. She's extremely hardworking and even with her businesses and family, I still see her going for the american market as she sayed they weren't able to do more there and thinks this is an introduction to american audiences as a solo artist.
I think they're being very strategic with her to go steady and achieve great things. Her fanbase is definitely global and can still grow a lot more. DSL is already a hit and I hope she gets a high placement in the UK charts.

So happy Uk artist are getting more hype but I wish Aussie artist weren’t so overlooked because we have some crazy talent here like Tkay Maidza, Miiesha, Peach Prc, A.girl, Tokyo Vendetta, Jessica Mauboy plus so many more that I think deserve global recognition too

I think Leigh will benefit from her Light Skin Privilege and maybe will make it in some parts of the US. But I’m not sure the music she’s making will pop for the US but she’ll defo do good in the UK I’ll think.

Even if she doesn't make it big with her solo career now she can always try again in the future she's only 31 she can try to get western success for many years to come it's better if she takes her time and plays the long game like how shakira was big in latin america when she started her career at 15 took her time, then blew up in america at 25 and went back to her main audience after she got what she wanted so leigh anne can do the same her fanbase has been around for 12 years

Little mix doesn’t have to be successful in America for them to individually be successful in America.

@adp9878 Jesys solo was a flop even nicki couldnt help her.If she couldn't make it than Leigh Anne and the rest need good promotion, management and good music for Americans to pay attention to.

the thing with LM not being big in the US was them getting black listed by their labels and not being promoted enough, they never got good opportunities, not even good once in the UK. most of their success was because of their pure talent and simply organic, all their labels and managements were shit!!!

@@jordynsimmons1107anybody can famous nowadays like blackpink is famous in America but they don't have quality in there music, they can't even hit high note properly and use lots of autotune, lipsynic background music and there cringy lyrics and aave no one care about it and only sold around 5m while little mix is way more better than them have a quality and good music and vocally, musically stable and sold more than 60m but still they are not that famous in usa and Asia it's all about promotion
