In 1932, Bob Graham did what just over 1950 runners have managed to do since. A 66 mile, 27,000 ft. running loop of 42 of the highest peaks in the English Lake District, in under 24 hours. Less than half the number of people who start go onto to finish the Bob Graham Round in the allotted time. We follow Ricky Lightfoot as he attempts the Bob Graham Round in winter, offering us an opportunity to delve deeper and learn more about the long history and rich culture around this legendary feat

Oh, man...he assisted Tony Holt!
The more I learn about all of these different runners the more I realize how much people are missing out on...just enjoying the simplicity and comradeship that goes with running.
Too many people are chasing after happiness through acquisition, not realizing that happiness is literally just stepping outside and appreciating this amazing world we’ve been given.
this sport will be fine , there is no spotlight for people to seek and so the sport will not be corrupted by the masses , the masses can not do this kind of thing , it's not a game it is a passion not for the medal hungry or goody bag seeker , I run with over 200 at a running club and all but 2 of us do fell running or trail running
Added to the bucket list. Once I get older and it's healthy for me to run long distances instead of just XC races, I so want to do this.
great words: Culture - you help people, people help you.
Beautiful and very stimulating ! Where are my shoes ? Need to run !
Tom Rosenthal again? YEEEAH!
Wow! Insane to try it during the harsh Northern England winter months... but very inspiring. Love the rawness and purity of this thing.
Great episode! So great it makes what he's doing seem quick and easy. This man is a beast, and props to his support team.

Thank you Bob Graham
Love this video, my coach Graham Wright has done it. I met Ricky at Three peaks and KMF 16 and he inspires me so much
Well done Ricky..
I like that phrase "If you don't climb the mountain you can't see the view"👌😌
Terrific
Amazing.

Great motivator.
Great video
Simply awesome! Want to do it... :)
Reet good was that!

Fell runners don't want the spotlight. They seem like a modest, humble community. But I feel like this type of running is becoming the trend. When the trend comes, the humility leaves. The truth becomes corrupt. The authenticity is trampled. And the purity is lost. Just my thoughts. I could be wrong.
money is the source of ruin. theres no real money in this sport. i reckon it'll be fine for a long time to come
I hope you are right!
You definitely have a good point. I, like yourself, hope for a respectful and conscious growth of the sport. Beautifully put my friend!
Josh Holloway that was elegantly conclusive and wise.
Wow Billy Bland record holder 13 hrs 53 mins since 52'!
Nice
aupa esa camiseta del kilian!
God I miss the Lake District :'(
Where's the new video today? It said a new video would be posted today.....😳😔
Is his backpack still somewhere halfway?
Hi Salomon, what's up with the last video, supposed to be Sept 13?
Great video such an inspiration. Congratulations
His surname is Lightfoot lol I'm going to change mine to Weighsnothing
Does anyone know why Ricky did it in winter, other than he’s just hard as nails?😄
To put things into perspective, Billy Bland has done it only seven and a half hours faster, 34 years ago...
"only seven and a half hours faster" - haha
Not in winter he didn't , conditions matter in fell running.
I love to running. I weight 30kg
music is starting to be repetitive throughout this season. fell running, a different concept for the same activity
What gives, guys?
i am best
