I'm gonna have to do this to my '79 sooner or later. Got the lower from shifterdoc so I hope the OEM arm still works (it seems to be in good shape). Thanks for the insight on the removal. Super helpful.

Gotta have a black knob. I swapped out the white knob on my '69 AMX for a black one.
