  • Don't want to spend 30 bucks for a ThermaRest pump sack (if you can even find one now)? Here's how to make your own for just a few dollars.

Great, thanks. Took about 10 mins and two goes for me. Worked best when I glued the washer into the bottle top.

This is a brilliant idea. Me and fasher will definitely use this idea when we do a fishing wild camp. Gonna use it on the Trekokogy UL-80. Can't wait to get mortal drunk by the lake and then make this using an empty bottle 👍

It is a great idea. I also have the Trekology UL-80 and would like to make a homemade version to avoid spending ~$50 for the Exped Schnozzel. However, what do you intend to use to mate with the Trekology valve? It's an "innie" versus the "outie" of the Therm-a-Rest.

Thank you for sharing!!! I’m looking for that orange Therm-a-Rest sack now and everywhere is sold out! I will likely being trying this DIY method.

Nice idea, but it's kinda overkill. You can just use a trash bag minus any modifications.
