I did this same thing the other day, I believe your ramp feed rate was to high. Mine tried to ramp down to a hole and then it melted a chip and the endmill went shortly after that.
Thanks for sharing. Would flood coolant help to prevent chip welding? Also please share what kind of precision we can get. Many people would like to buy this machine but afraid it can't achieve the performance it claims.
@JulienStoeffler yes, I'm sure coolant would have prevented that. I ordered some more end mills but they won't be delivered any time soon. I could write the program again with a smaller tool and give another try. I changed the tool path for the adaptive clearing, so I may give it another try tomorrow.
