- He fell 10 feet from the garage! Fortunately he landed on his back and not his head! It could have been much worse! Purely a Miracle! Just 3 broken ribs and hurting But he is still Alive!!!! I hope someone learns from this! Be Careful when getting on your Roof!!!

I would never use a step ladder to go on a roof. What was he doing? Attempting to blow out the gutters?
Exactly what he had planned to do! Instead laid on couch for 3 weeks! I told him! Glad he's alive!
Do not uderstimate the danger of falling from a roof. You can kill yourself from that low (not theorical because it happens).
Do yourself a favor, get a high HP shop vac (5,5 hp or more) with 6,35 cm hose and buy a gutter kit. You can blow or vacuum and a shop vac is a usefull tool. I have a Ridgid 38 l 6 hp and, with the kit, it costed me less than 200 $CAN. Carfefull with electric wires (just like a ladder)... Now I use the ladder barely one out of four cleaning. It will take you the same amount of time but is much safer.
I hope he didn't hurt himself badly.

You are wrong on that one! Fittest and strongest guy I know and in our neighborhood! Built that shop by himself! Just an accident. He's lucky and he knows it...
