- So strange this year, no babies this year. Only Dad and Mom? Tried to save another bird, a baby Raven. I caught him 3 times. Had to leave 3x for an Uber trip! Still here each time! Could fly a little but not enough yet. Fed him a little bread, cracker crumbs, pc of mashed Papaya and some water. Parents and friends came to help but not here my last trip home. Put him in the Pine Tree that wouldn't die, another Video of mine for not even a cat could climb from dead brush in middle and thought would be safe throughout the night. Still hoping!?

Still Alive this morning but didn't stay in tree last night. Tonight he sat on my shoulder after I fed him. Trusting me. Parents still keeping there eye on him. Staying in house tonight we'll fed I hope!? Going to fees him in morning and feed him, feed parents by tree too. Hope I can save this little guy!❤
Another night in house for heavy rain! Eating burger now and getting stronger! Parents flew over me again. They know I have him. Got string today and will walk him so he will be able to fly sooner! Follow up video will follow.
@@pyro8455 Please keep us posted!
Release day Saturday I hope!?
Who knew Brooks from Shawshank was here 😂
Lol
That's how birds fledge their young, just leave them alone
I didn't want to believe me! Follow his progress. Releasing Fri or Sat. Flying and Eating better! Mom visited yesterday. So cool!
Are you feeding him raw liver? Raw liver is the best thing you can give a baby raven. Thin pieces of room temperature liver. Not too big, he's small
Mostly raw hamburger, nightcrawler in pcs and meal worms. Progressing fast! Even parents visited last 2 of 3 days. Flying so much better too but not 75 ft where his nest is. Hoping for Release Fri or Sat 🤞🙏? Doing good!
@@pyro8455 I'm relieved to know that he's eating meat. I saw someone else that found a baby raven feeding it corn, which is what cartoon crows eat. If you would try some liver you would be amazed at his reaction.
He's ready for release. Parents/family will care for him. Want him to fly just a little better first. Will post vid of last flight lesson tomorrow. Think this one will make it.🙏 Thx for tips and caring.
@@pyro8455 I had a raven when I was a kid. We had six kids in the family and a family friend gave him to my older brother but I was the one he bonded with. We kept him in cage for a few days feeding him raw liver. After that he was free flying. He could go anywhere he wanted but he hung around our house a lot. But he was all over town (a very small town in Oregon). I would never keep one indoors. Ravens are prone to mischief. Ours would fly up on top of the neighbors house and find loose shingles and pull them out and drop them into their flower beds. He would see somebody wearing a hat and fly down and pluck the hat off their head and take off with it. Stuff like that. They're incredibly smart, some say about as smart as a 7 year old human. They can be taught to talk but ours never talked. He flew down to the local truck stop and sat on the ledge watching people eat. He was a hit there. But he wasn't a hit when he flew to the nursing home and sat on the window ledge of the person closest to death there. That did not go over well at all.
What a story! I have a few myself. Didn't want to try with this one but had the gut feeling I had to try. Knew if I could just get him to fly a bit better he might make. Looking good so far. Hope he don't dive bomb t h e neighbors lol. But hope he comes by every so often!? Bittersweet.🤞
U also got nice "clouds" over there just like in Europe
I'm pretty sure you've managed to kill that raven by now. Putting a bird on a string is cruelty. Birds don't need humans to teach them how to fly. Is that not obvious to you? What the hell is wrong with you? You said; "I've got a hundred percent kill rate saving you guys". Because you don't have a clue.
