I actually have that same machine. It does have a spot for a second spool holder. It’s the bobbin winder. It has a separate horizontal spool pin that snaps onto the bobbin winder to add a second spool.

Also, if you get the center of each of the pieces lined up, you can then place a weight on top and fiddle with the edges without worrying about losing the center!

I am struggling applying the fusible bias tape, specifically negotiating the tight inside curves. I have searched for tutorials without success. It seems the tape folds over itself or creases in the process. Do you know of a resource I could access to help with this aspect of your pattern?
I was trying to figure out how to send a DM... I am looking for HELP. I bought a new singer fashion mate from Joann’s, a month ago, and I’m having a major problem! Joann’s will not help me because I recycled my box. I cannot figure out why my machine sews until I lift my presser foot to turn a corner. I am sooo frustrated! I have RUclipsd and googled trying to find an answer. I make sure to thread it with lever up, so it engages. All is well, until I have to turn a corner, like if it disengages. Can anyone please help me find a solution??? Please help me Man Sewing... Colleen
