  • First off, this video took just over 18 hours to render and came out to be just over 15GB in size, but it's finally uploaded. This is my in depth look at the new VR rifle stock from Virtual Core. I've been looking for a stock with more customization for a while now since so many games handle weapon model sizes and angles so differently that the stock I had really only worked for a few games and not all weapons with those games.

    Pros:
    - Very high customization. You get the right
    setup for you.
    - Works for any VR shooter. Takes work, but
you can adjust it for each game's unique grip
    locations and weapon sizes.
    - Feels durable so far.
    - Comes with a nice lanyard/sling.
    - Friction based, not magnet, no need to attach
extra stuff to the Vive wand.
    Cons:
    - With great customization, comes time invested.
    - Adjusting the stock while in game can be
difficult as you must either use the pass-through
camera or look through the gap in the nose area.
    - While in-game, you cannot see the stock, so
you must develop some muscle-memory in
moving your controllers into the holster (This
problem is shared with all VR gun stocks).
    - Butt stock adjustments would be nice.
This rifle stock was provided to me by the creator however there were no requirement, limitations, or anything else of the kind for what I could say and/or show for this product.

Don’t know if you remember me but you taught us the rifle merit badge during the winter (not during camp) a while back. But I have been watching for a while and am happy to see you back into the flow of videos.
P.S. waiting on the VR Arcade

Oh yeah. I remember that day. You guys were a good bunch. The brick and mortar location is still a ways off, but I'm starting my mobile VR stuff soon. I'll head out to anywhere in the middle TN area, so tell your buddies about us and send them over to DigitalWorldsVR.com. Of course I'm looking to book birthdays and corporate events, but I'm also wanting to work with the Boy Scouts and come to troop meetings and set it up and talk about how VR will be impacting STEM over the next few years. I gotta start getting my brand out there so that people know I exist and what we do. VR is so new that so many business owners and parents are completely out of the loop on it.

Awesome. I'm training a couple of my employees right now and how to operate the gear and software, so if you and your buddies are wanting to do some VR later in Feb, we can try to schedule a day and you guys can play for free. I need to get them trained, so the more people the better.
