Leaving comment here so you def see it…. (I am also very sorry I cannot do this privately) with that being said, I have a tiny advice tip for you. For sweaters/tops like the gorgeous one you are wearing in this video - you want to wear a black or at least dark tone bra underneath. Love from London ❤

Thankyou for sharing this… I have a friend who is a trans-woman and she has been going through the hair removal process - so I’ve been wondering what happened in the hair removal sessions…!
I just looked at this through your link as it looks great but please can you do some follow up vids honey? If really love to see the results please 😘 X
I just started my social transition about a year ago and I have yet to start laser hair removal. I’m actually a bit nervous about it and I feel like I should do it through a dermatologist as opposed to hair removal spas. I’m afraid of potential burning and scars which would lead to more dysphoria for me. Shaving everyday has become such a pain so after watching your vid I think I will start my facial laser hair removal soon 😊
I have had laser and electrolysis for over a year. I wouldn’t worry about scarring. Laser is less traumatic on the skin and you can walk out from a session and have a slightly red face for maybe 8 hours and then you look normal after that. No long lasting redness, at least for me anyway. Electrolysis is much more painful. Brutally painful as a matter of fact around the lips. The chin and neck are pretty painful too. Laser is much more tolerable. It hurts no doubt but it is over with so fast and there is no pain after the jolt at all. Electrolysis however yields permanent results but it might take more than one treatment per hair if the hair is not in the right growth stage. Laser is not permanent hair “removal”. Electrolysis is currently the only method that is. Laser is permanent “reduction” however and there is a difference in that statement. I know this to be true because I’ve seen it. Even after over a year worth of laser I still get some hair that grows back but it is very little at this point. How long it lasts remains to be seen. I paid for a lifetime laser package at the top spa int he US though and currently go in every 10 weeks for treatments. Eventually I will have to go even less frequently with that. I do electrolysis on my face and chest. I’ve done this for 9 months now and still go up to 2 hours every week. I still have at least a year to go before I can say my face will be 99% hair free. Maybe even longer than that. Electrolysis is VERY SLOW. The problem with laser is that it is limited to only working on dark hairs and fair skin. If you have blonde, white or gray hairs it won’t work at all. Electrolysis works on ALL hairs. Since I am over 50 years old now at least half of my facial hair is gray so laser does nothing on that. I wish I had done laser when I was way younger.
Hi! I saw this comment and thought to add my two cents as I have had laser on multiple areas of my body. I have had treatments at dermatologists and at laser spas and have since found a laser spa that has worked out the best for me. If you are in the US and located in the south or Midwest, I go to Simplicity Laser and recommend. I have a medium dark complexion and the only scarring I got was when they increased the intensity for two sessions. It seemed to burn my skin but this was in a more sensitive area than not. For instance, my legs do very well with higher intensity treatments but my underarms scar as the skin is thinner there. I have since kept up gentle exfoliation which reduced the scarring. My advice is to find a laser spa that has the Candela+Zimmer machines with cooling technology as the cool air helps immensely and to keep the treated areas cool afterwards and wear loose clothing. It’s harder to keep cool in summer and I find that’s when my skin gets more irritated.
Go to a reputable laser therapist, I found sk:n clinics to be the best, I love Alex's but I would never do laser treatments from home as it's not medically graded, I only had laser treatment myself as IPL is more like a facial rejuvenating due to the laser span over the surface, As Alex's said laser targets each individual follicle and is much better than electrolysis which is a really outdated treatment when there is so much more choice for laser treatment, it does take time but, it's so worth it I promise x
Please if you wouldn't mind sharing an update later. Sounds cost effective without the risk someone starting drama, etc. Does take away the experience overall. I'd love to get my nails done but so far no one has responded.
I've always heard that laser only works if you have naturally darker, thicker hair. I'm a fookin' ginger so my hair is light and thin. I can skip shaving for a day or two and I never get a beard shadow. So I don't know if laser would work for me.
I am a hairy Burd always have been folk used to say I was a wee monkey when I was wee 😂 wanted to try this but when I was young saw a Quincy show where the woman famous old actress in the episode ruined her face ended up a killer as you do 😂Quincy MD discovered her until then she has been the lady with the veil on all the time her face was like Freddy just missed the weird dreams 😂anyhow as laser that did it to do with having olive skin tone so ever since always was afraid of lasers hahah so when I think of doing this I think of the lady in the veil shall watch you first 😂😂 good luck 💜💜🤣
I see the service life for this laser is 5,000,000 shots, so how many shots does a normal 20-minute spice workout use. Is there an indicator or counter to show when a service is required. Does that consist of replacing the diode Lazer head. If so, can you service it yourself'' if not how much is the service call out and the replacement part. I gather the sound is the fan system cooling down the unit and supplying the cooling blower system to the laser head. ''how cool is that'' 😀 I know I.P.L is no good for light pigment hairs, only good for dark hair follicles. and no guarantee, hair may return. electrolyses takes years and no guarantee they won't come back either. Be great to see how this spice machine works out over the next few months Alexis, look forward in your updates. If you have a smart meter, can you let us know how much it costs to run for 20 minutes, I calculate about 5p but would be interested to know in the real world😀 So, we had Ginger, Baby, Posh, Scary and Sporty, So What Spice are you I wonder. 🤣
PCOS here, of course this content is useful, as the array of different products work on ladies with very weak hair that are few and far between, but not a single person out there caters for "Arabic hobbits" (c) a journalist from Cosmo) like us! Even worse, when you're naturally blonde and the hair is like a yellow cloudy fuzz and laser will not work on them at all.
“The light from the laser attaches to pigment, or color, in your hair to heat up the follicle. This damages-but does not destroy-the follicle. Unlike electrolysis, which treats one hair follicle at a time, your technician can use a light-emitting laser hair to remove all the hair in a large area” Correct me if I’m wrong but laser is not electrolysis?
@ Hi Liam, thanks so much for the explanation! I was actually watching to understand more about the machine’s differences and capabilities, as the technical side isn’t really my expertise. By the way, I noticed Alexis’s pronunciation of “electrolysis” and thought I’d mention it, especially since it’s a Greek word and I’m Greek myself. Hope it’s okay to bring it up-I didn’t mean to sound picky or anything!
I’m j afraid to buy an at home laser or ipl treatment because my hair is so thick still. I feel like I’m j going to waste my time because it won’t work fully. Estrogen like barely and I mean barely has thinned my hair. It’s only been 4 months, but I feel like electrolysis and laser is the only option for me but it’s just all so expensive 😭 transitioning when ur 22 and trying to also save for like everything else in your life it’s so hard out here

Yeah great idea to do a 6 month review so people understand it takes time but you will see a result 😊
the sensation of spice is actually a pain response, so I think thats very accurate ^^,)

Look at the website, the only colour they say won’t work is white or platinum blonde. Red is listed as okay

I loved this!
So interesting ❤
have you considered doing a chemical peel?❤
Does it work with redheads or blonds?
Did it work over time?
Redistribution of hair Alexis 😂
