Thank you sooooo much for this wonderful and inspiring music! I am buying a Korg Wavestate, ASM Hydrasynth and Arturia Microfreak next month. I already have an Elektron Analog 4 and Machinedrum MK2 as well as a MicroKorg, Roland SH-01 Gaia and a Casio XW-P1, which is amazing.

Tuned into your home concerts recently... wow! Loving the atmospherics, toys, tea and cat 😻 Q: have you wired the gear using midi (DIN) / USB to your Ableton ? What central midi hub in/out do you use? Curious, as all devices runs smoothly in sync together! Well done Martin 👍 Great video series.
I have a new love for ambient techno how do you use your guitar pedals In your setup? I have awesome pedals.... Also thinking about using my Allen & Heath px5 mixer in this setup using the send and return I guess we're the chain of pedals and plugging my Hardware into the 4 channels on the mixer that could work right? , I have a Soundcraft mixer also preamp into this blend of instruments as well trying to figure it all out

@@Serenityintrust Most people start their livestream a few minutes before the actual music starts to give the listeners the chance to join in and have a conversation before the show. It is possible to cut this part after the stream is done.

If you could only take one or two items with you, what would be the most essential to have for creating ambient music?? What could you get by with for creating classic ambient sounds?
Interesting question! Definitely a Mac with Ableton and the U-He synths. Hardware probably the Iridium and a moog.

What are you using for the pads around the 30:00 mark? Omnisphere?
You are lucky that I am finishing this track for an EP right now. It is indeed Ableton. I used two samples: Atmosphere Strings - Close a and Mellotron Violins. After that an Effect Rack in Ableton with Auto Filter, UHE Colour Copy, Valhalla Vintage Verb and Compressor with Sidechain from my Kick group.
This dub ambient techno set is amazing! Are the chords at the beginning from the MF?
Thank you! The first chord sound is from the REV2. It´s one of my own patches. Most interesting thing is that velocity modulates the filter envelope attack speed. I will release this track and a few others from this set on bandcamp soon by the way. :)
