- 2022 starts with an improvised Dub Techno set. All sounds are coming from the Elektron Digitakt, Roland Juno 60 and my modular system. Field recordings by Luftrum. I use Ableton Push to record multiple loops with sounds from the synthesizers, everything is played and sequenced live on the fly.

I'm so into this kind of music, been in so many places on youtube searching for the right channel, and always something was not right for me. Could be good, or even great, but there were always some sets or parts of sets disturbing my focus and peace. He's sick...My car system with his toons sounds so deep and I catch people bobbing their heads when I'm at a light....I've always loved house music but then when I started getting into the deep house years ago I just love the vibe and he's got that deep Tech dub sound that shit is dope.

Hey Martin. Nice set. Totally enjoyable and relaxing. One question: How do you send midi information from Ableton to the Juno 60? Do you use any DCB to Midi converter?
THank you! I don´t! I used audio clips to loop the Juno60.

What is it about the arturia microfreak that someone as yourself who has all the top end tools would choose to use it? Thanks for all your music!
Thanks! Well, there are a lot of great instruments on the market that have a low price. The Microfreak has a 18 different oscillator models and a nice routing matrix for modulation. For my livesets I can store presets and it always fits in a bag. I´d love to have a bigger version but until then I am happy to use it. I´d rather sell my Sequential rev2 than the Microfreak.
@@MartinStuertzer wow, thanks for the insight. I was actually considering the rev 2 for my live setup so I find this answer very intriguing. I love the sound of the rev 2‘s oscillators, but can see how with quality fx’s linked after the difference between it and the microfreak’s would be less.
The internal fx of the rev2 are really bad, nothing I would use in a liveset. Keep in mind that the Microfreak is not polyphonic!
