❤ thank you for this brilliant live set. The musical and production quality in your work is outstanding. Couldn’t really find much ambient pieces that resonate with me like your music does.
I had to miss the premiere - it was very early in the day in my time zone - but it was particularly good to be able to see your comments, and the rest of the chat, as I played it back. Great set, and what a great community too!
Just discovered you by accident, though I don't believe in accidents only synchronicities. Been a fan of Tangerine Dream forever & then State Asure. It was only inevitable that I found you. Absolutely love it, find it very calming, also think that every studio should have a cat supervising. Love your cat, reminds my of one of my 1st. cats 🐈 Spook. You just gained a new follower, brilliant piece.
Hi Martin, just finished watching this, wow mate definitely one of if not your best yesterday. It has everything in it, , beautiful pads, full basses, pure leads and great sequences. Hope this is going to be made into an album. Cheers Glyn.
First time I have watched you on my home studio PC instead of my mobile phone. Wow, what a fantastic experience. Thank you ever so much for sharing your talents and music! 🎹🎶🎼 😎👍
Sounds great! Do you also have the synth, or just the manual? This is a real question, as I do collect manuals from synths, even when I don't have them.
@@MartinStuertzer Hi Martin. Haha, that is actually a good question. Yes I do have it. I got it only a few weeks ago so learning it currently. I also have a Quantum MK2 which I love to bits. I also collect manuals for synths that I do not have, I have found that they are very good to collect on Ipad iBooks, super easy to read and you can underline with apple pencil. Perfect for sofa days. So far the One has been very exciting, it has some incredibly powerful features. I was happy to find that you can actually build quite complex functions, assign them to custom variables and route into whatever you want. I for example build a mosquito (!) sound by using a random signal, applying smoothing to the noise source and changing the pitch with it. I also like that the UI is very fast to work with.
This was absolutely brilliant to listen to. I've already come back and listened to it again twice since the premiere. Really great performance, and awesome playing!
Thank you! Listening to the same set multiple times is a very good way to support me in terms of the youtube algorithm. I am also happy that you enjoy the music!
For that you should tell people about updated Revanced youtube apk in description or pinned comments to download so they can easily listen..counting playback. Because I can use IDM or so, doesn't help with algorithm.
Sorry, Neptun & Martin for not commenting in quite some time. I don't know what was going on but I couldn't find your new posts. I "think" the problem is rectified. This is utterly fantastic‼Ethereal, floating in space music. 🐺💯😻👍🌎🧡🌌🎈🪐🛸🚀🏳🌈💥
as always, masterful work. The stand out though, the synth cat bring the chill vibes. Mine just like to press every button on every mixer and synth in my studio, its most frustrating.
Neptun must be a genius by now after taking in all the incredible sounds by osmosis. He's looking better than ever. Does he have his own special tea? 😸
But he's nothing without his cat!!! 😂 Phantastisch Mr. Stürtzer! Part 3 und sein simple Chord Change Sequencing ist absolut grandios... Klaus Schulze wäre stolz auf Dich. Go on!
Hello Martin. Thank you for sharing your journey with us! Technical question - I can see you have a need for at least 20+ line/instrument inputs in your setup. I can barely make out the MOTU rack-mount device along with a few others in your rack in the back corner. Do you have a video that explains your interface setup for all these instrument ins, and what type and models of gear you use? I'm assuming at least one ADAT type input box, and maybe more ... paired to something that interfaces with your system. OR, maybe you have an instrument mixing console out of camera view that you use? I'm learning... Nochmals vielen Dank und einen schönen Abend!
I have another rack that is not in the video because the camera stands on top of it. There is a RME 802 which has 12 inputs. I also use both ADAT inputs for 2x8 channels. The rack that you see in the video has an UAD Apollo, that I use as Adat pre-amp and a Focusrite pre-amp. The motu is one of my two midi interfaces, I have the Motu Midi Express 128 on both sides. I did a few setup videos but I am not sure exactly sure where to find them now.
@@MartinStuertzer Thanks for the information Martin - I appreciate it! I'm replacing my old MOTU Track16 with a MOTU Ultralite mk5 ... It's time for more inputs and more modern hardware with modern driver support. I've been reading up on ADAT expansion - looks like adding a Behringer 8200 could be a super affordable way to go if/when the time comes. :)
Late to the party, I recently discovered your music via State Azure, and I’m delighted I did. On this set, part 3 particularly stands out for me on this performance. More of that please! A question if I may. On your live sets do you have a definite idea of what pieces will work well together, or is it more a case of playing what you’ve been working on over the period and seeing how they fit? I’m just curious. Either way, thank you for producing some wonderful music.
Thank you! The ratio of preparation and improvisation is different from set to set. Usually I prepare a few sounds and patterns, which work together in a good way. But there are also sets, in which I start with an empty project. When a lot of melodies and rhythmic elements come together it requires a higher grade of preparation.
If you could have just one synth for your style of music, which would it be. I really enjoy your concerts. Ive been wanting to get a synth. I mainly have romplers (fantom 8, kronos, motif) for other styles of music. But Im looking for a synth to learn to program that also has tons of that scifi/ambient sounds.
Hi Martin, in this video and in general, are you using some tool to recording/playing loops, right? Are you using MIDI looping (on Ableton) or what instead? Thanks for your music sharing!
Your sounds are amazing! The atmosphere and mood. I am full of wonder. I would like to compare your piece to other composers, but you are original. I would like to make such music but I have no experience. I have no knowledge base. I have only a Roland A500 keyboard and a pirated FL Sudio program :( But maybe someday, someone will show me basics of how to make modern electronic music. Thanks again for this music.
After a hard day's work, I come home and listen to Martin. It's pure relaxation and everything suddenly seems great again.
Pure bliss for the brain
I have listened to Part 3 so many times. It's one of your best. It's kind of erotic.
Thank you!
Very beautiful improvisation!!!
My cat - Jupiter - also helps me in creating music - sometimes he presses with his paw - and I respect that)))
Your cat must be much bigger than Neptun and very gassy!
@@MartinStuertzer ))))))))))yezzz!!
I used to have a cat that liked to do this. He was good at playing twelve-tone music. 🙂
Pouring in a cup of tea while playing an album's worth of epic sounds, I am amazed.

So Awesome!
Just lovely - the master of restraint! I'd be too tempted to be a bit heavy handed with one of the synths, and accidentally ruin the whole session!
