Not sure the end goal is for this to be comparable but both the monster and the "garbage" are made by the same company. Looking forward to dialing it in and seeing what difference it makes.

Can these be installed horizontally? Or are they meant to be installed only in vertical orientation for optimum performance?
They can be mounted vertically or horizontally.

They can be installed in the ceilling anywhere you want too !!! some people even but them inside their seats
How do you know the best place to install an inwall sub?
I am not sure there is an exact way to determine this, I ended up installing these as near field subs behind my back row of seats.
my turntable weighs more then those subs LOL.. it is a great to see SVS branching out
Lol, I was hoping they wouldn’t weigh any heavier for in-walls else you have to brace them to studs.

It supports all major audio codec, is there a particular audio test you want me to test?
I checked out the other video you did in regard to the sound test thank you for sharing I’m getting convince to getting this svs sub.
Joe and tell are not subwoofer excepts lol none of them got JL audio w7 or even rell lol not even monitor audio subs been on there
