That elbow pain could be a result of golfer's elbow, it's a result of overuse of your flexor muscles in your forearm. You can use a brace just below that "pointy part" of the inside of your elbow to try and relieve that pain. Along with icing and stretching by extending the elbow and wrist as well. Hope this helps Cbum!
@@andyblackman8413 I used to have it real bad too. So bad that even washing my hands would cause me a lot of pain. It got better by using this very weird exercise/stretch I found on RUclips. Common Reasons for Elbow Pain from Bicep Curls 1. You’re gripping the bar or dumbbell too tight. Gripping the bar or dumbbell too tight activates the flexor tendon that allows your wrist to bend or curl forward. Even if your wrist maintains a neutral position throughout the curl, activating the flexor tendon in this way can lead to inner elbow pain and golfer’s elbow. 2. You’re not keeping your wrist in a strong, neutral position throughout the curl. Similar to gipping the bar or dumbbell too tight, allowing your wrists to roll forward will activate the flexor tendon and can lead to inner elbow pain. On the flip side, if you extend/bend your wrists backward during a curl, the weight will activate the extension tendons in your wrists that are attached to the outer side of your elbow, which can cause outside elbow pain and tennis elbow. 3. You’re using too much weight. While this may seem obvious, it’s a bit more nuanced than you may think. Too much weight for your bicep curl may have nothing to do with your bicep strength - and everything to do with your grip and forearm strength. As mentioned above, gripping too tightly or extending or flexing your wrist during a bicep curl can lead to inner and outside elbow pain. If your lack of grip strength causes you to over-grip the bar or dumbbells, or if your inadequate forearm strength causes a flexion or extension of the wrist, the weight is probably too heavy for you to curl while maintaining proper form. Poor form can lead to elbow pain and injury.
Hey Chris I had similar elbow pain and tried a bunch of stuff but just recently found something that worked. I found videos on elbow tendonitis and a treatment I found effective is to do isometric holds while your arm is at around 90 degrees with your palm on a wall. Obviously the farther your body is away from the wall the more resistance is applied to the elbow. 10 second holds for sets of 3 and I've already seen great pain reduction after just a few days. The holds do create some pain at first but my understanding is it's to increase the load capacity of the tendon in that area.
@@davidd9510 maybe that’s true but it’s not the real Olympia. Looking better doesn’t make it the real Olympia. There’s a reason those guys are pushing the envelope

for elbow pain, roll your tricep out on a bar with your arm at 90°. also get it on the inside part of your tricep towards your elbow and bend and straighten you arm on the bar. as a baseball player we deal with this a lot.
It’s crazy how everyone is acting normal while cbum is around training in a public gym. ( good that they’re not disturbing him while he’s is working out 💪🏻)
Elbow pain from overactive tricep maybe? Forearm and tricep release (trigger therapy self release or assisted release) will alleviate the pain for life. Dry needling is based on trigger therapy so works wonders for deeper knots and places where a masseurs fingers cannot reach
I had the same issue with my interior elbow, try elbow sleeves, worked wonders for me, only wore em for like 1 1/2 months haven't worn em since in like 3 years have no problems Edit: not to correct your form but I also started to bring my elbows in a little more for my triceps movements and that helped a lot too

Hey man I used to get those elbow pains all the time, compression sleeves and high rep band pushdowns helped me a lot. I feel like the bands help me recover faster and strengthened my tendons.
Chris! Im a massage therapist. Ive worked with clients who have that elbow pain you talked about. It could most likely be inflammation in the tendon, so a void using a massage gun on the painful area directly. Instead, Bumstead, massage the forearm muscles on both sides, as well as the bicep muscle group. Ice is also a good idea. Hope I could help.

So the initial elbow pain is called golfers elbow or tennis elbow. It’s tendinitis and basically your losing blood flow to that inner tendon. The best way to prevent it or at least fix it is using an elbow strap it goes on your upper forearm close to your bicep you need to wear it and it helps tremendously. Watch out I’ve had that injury for going 6 years now!
Chris, take your ring finger on the elbow that hurts and bend it backwards. Try to keep everything straight and see if it recreates the elbow pain. If it does then its due to letting weight hang in the middle to finger tip part of your hand. Try gripping the weights with the meatest part of your hand and don’t let it roll out. Overtime it should slowly heal. You can also do that stretch I was talking about up top to stretch the muscle that goes from your ring finger that attaches to the inner elbow.
Same elbow pain came to me when I started growth. Doc said I’m front delt dominant and shoulders are pulling, compensating when shoulder blades aren’t rolled back. I roll my shoulder blades back and it gives temporary relief.
