    I think that was the best demo of the amp I have seen. You answered questions that I have had because of how the other demo/review presented the amp. It was like their demo caused me to have more question at the end of the demo/review. Thanks, for being able to do what so many other couldn't.

    Went to the cloud, typed in Layla, Got 10 different versions of the Layla sound. I picked the one I liked best and then jammed out. It was awesome. Then I did the same for a few other songs. It's incredible. You can also connect to spotify and play along with any song there and also have the song play and it will tell you the chords being played.

    King, I don't know what you do outside the Tone King Lounge as a career or is the channel your mainstay. Watching you over the years and being in a bug eyed state of AWE! You sir must have the greatest life ever. To have any tone with any axe at your disposal and not the Axe fx or Kemper route although I'm sure you have those as well. That has just got to be Sweetness on top of the Sweet. To live as The Tone King for a day. That would be a day well spent. Love the channel and thanks for the entertainment.
    P.S. R.I.P "DUST", Jeff LaBar, Joey Jordison and all of the artist not with us. Thanks guys!

    I've been playing for 59 years. I played, making half my living, in NYC for two decades. I owned a guitar store in Flushing,NY. I just got mine. It's the greatest thing I've ever played through, and Ive seen some amps, let me tell you. Beginners could use it, yes. They'd be more suited to a champ, but they could use it, albeit that would be a waste. This thing threatens to bring me out of retirement.

    • @rebelcat420
      @rebelcat420 3 года назад +2

      You can use it without the app. It is easier to program the 4 presets/channels with the app, but once done, you don’t need it. I have mine set up and almost never use the app anymore..just plug in and go

      Without the app I would say the amp is barely usable so definitely there are better options if you don't want to use the app. By the way, I happen to love the amp and its various amp and pedal modeling - amazing. But you've got to use the app to get to them. The guy that said he used the app once to set up his 4 presets is correct - you can do that. But then you'll pretty much be limited to 4 tone patches if that's enough for you.

    Have this and the good ol Peavy Vypr so now I can switch between them or practice with a friend.
    Amazing what each offers. I'll say some of the Vypr sounds are better some worse, but the key differentiator is being able to plug it in and have audio output (dunno why the lower tier Vypr doesn't support that, I have used my sm57 to record it but really thats just unforgivable amp sinning from Peavey)

    I just bought one because my quad cortex is taking forever to ship and I wanted something decent to practice with. I was blown away right out of the box. I would recommend this amp as a practice amp to any one no matter your style. You can even get some pretty damn good bass tones out of it.
    Well worth the money. I wish practice amps sounded like this when I was first starting.

It’s a fantastic piece of equipment that every player should have and at $250, it’s a NO BRAINER...IRig is just ok, all plastic very cheap feel, but it works...Again I’d much rather have the quality that this has... (To each his own) it’s not for the stage, so with that in mind it gives you so much more, that’s why everyone wants one...the Sales are the proof, there through the roof!
