    Really stunning to look at, its plain to see you’re enjoying yourself creating these 👍👏😀 as a photographer I mount my images with the mounting points lower on the piece so the hanging hardware is totally concealed, obviously it’s personal preference. When looking at some of the aerial shots you do of your tables there’s a real similarity to some of the Google earth images of river deltas and estuary’s from around the world, it’s easy to let the imagination wander and see things in these epoxy pieces, for me it’s all part of the appeal and fascination. Thanks for sharing what you do, it really is a visual treat👏👍😀

    Epoxy is only limited by how a person envisions a project. The uses are endless, it just never gets old does it.

    You are the first I've seen use wipe on poly. I love that stuff and find it seals so well. Wiping it on also just makes it easier and seams like less work.

    This is a beautiful display of talent! I’ve looked at a lot of wood/resin projects; and other than turnings, no one would think to finish the two sides in a different manner. I’m an architect and believe these are two of the best things I’ve seen yet. Your other projects are brilliant as well. I hope one day I can be in a place where I can have all of the tools to make something like this happen. The sliding table-saw is a marvelous machine for this use.
    And thank you so much for adding a bit of commentary! I like knowing a bit of what you’re thinking in your process!
    Thanks!

    Hi, how are you putting the frame together, just hotglue? - If I'm doing a bigger Tableplate, should I build a solid frame?
    and does your working-table needs to be perfectly leveled before I poor the epoxy in? I love your work, well done!

    Would have been preferable to hide the hanging wire, by placing it a little lower down....nice job though, nice finish...

    • @ManorWood
      @ManorWood  5 лет назад

      That’s is a option , I was going for the industrial look with all fixing on show. Hidden wire also look cool

    • @cjjersey2455
      @cjjersey2455 5 лет назад

      Besides attaching the wire lower, make it shorter, too. That way it hangs flatter on the wall. I think it might also look nice with a strip light behind it if your colors are transparent enough. It would also look good with the wood at the bottom and a natural rough edge at the top. Lots of possibilities with this type of project.

    Are you using the festool polishing grit after using the NW1. I ‘m using the NW 1 on a table I have just made and having a hell of a time getting a good finish on the epoxy. Went up to 4000 grit sandpaper before the NW1
    What type of pad do you use for polishing, I’m maybe using to soft a one.

    • @ManorWood
      @ManorWood  5 лет назад +1
