I think a major part of the Crafsman charm is never knowing what I'll find when I open up one of your videos. Don't feel like you have to keep doing something you're not feeling. The joy you have for what you do is what keeps me around. Whether its no-dig bill, kitbashing, injection molding, resin, jewelry, a poem, whatever. I love it all, and I think most of the community feels the same. As long as you're steady craftin' we'll be watching.

Crafsman, maybe a different perspective - I'm in my mid twenties and learning about work and time management and the like is very helpful to me. You taking time for yourself, making sure you feel happy and rested with your work is just as responsible as putting out content - you're being a role model to your viewers, many of whom may also struggle with these topics. Thank you for explaining and looking out for yourself.
I can't speak for anyone else, but I can say that even if I am not specifically looking at toy making, or music making, or camera tricks, I feel as if I learn a lot watching your videos. Part of it is applicable skills, you know, but a lot of it is attitude and feeling. I have been making things since I was a kid and sometimes it's hard, hard to work through failures, hard to deal with heavy work loads, hard to approach things you don't know. But your videos help me stay motivated and stay excited. Some other people might provide things that are more relevant to what particular project I am working on, but your videos make me feel better about them. Your positivity is like, healing man. Even if I never have a machine to do injection molding, I love watching you do your thing and helping people and I know other people do too.
It’s safe to say, after reading a lot of reactions, most, if not all, of your viewers love you for who you are. You and the Crafsfamily. Your time is precious. Your time with them is precious. So please take your time if you have to. Your videos are precious because of who you are so if it’s twice a month, once a month, once in two months or you skip a ‘schedule’ because you need the time for the family, we will understand and just be extra joyful when a video comes out.

CrafsMan, I'm right there with you. I speed so much time looking online & replying to people that I lose time. Why say in a few words what I can say in several paragraphs? LOL It happens. But on the content of your videos, while I don't have all the equipment you enjoy using, it excites me to see what you do next. Do I have a 3D printer? No. Do I want one? Sure, but I can't afford one & if I had one, I couldn't afford the supplies I'd need to run one. Injection mold is the same way, but that doesn't matter. I love whatever it is I see you doing. With your content, I want you to be happy. Do what you want to do. Do it in the time span you want to do it in. When CrafsMan is happy, I'm happy. Placing a check mark on a list for the sake of a routine never made anybody happy. Don't feel obligated to switch topics because people complain. Don't feel obligated to do anything anytime unless you're being paid to do something, and then only do that when it's what you want to be doing.
I would MUCH rather wait a little bit longer between videos than watch you start to dislike what you are doing because you are just checking off boxes. It's worth a wait to watch a video that you are proud of and that makes you smile. All of your videos make ME smile, but if you become unhappy then there won't be any videos at all, so take care of yourself and figure out how to keep enjoying what you do!
Take all the time you need! Taking the time to do a job in a way that you can feel proud of it is the hallmark of a craftsperson, or at least that's what I've been told. :D I start a new job on Monday, and I can't wait for my first paycheck just so I can get in on that Patreon action. You could always do a steady craftin video every other week and then maybe an update video in between just talkin about what you got going on, ideas you have, etc. It would give you two weeks to focus on an art video and then a more podcast style video. I do a lot of woodworking but any time not spent in my workshop is spent in my electronics lab doing industrial electronics repair. I can’t think of a better person to teach electronics stuff than you! It would be so much fun to see you Tinker with electronics!

I can't say anything that hasn't already been said. Crafsman, you do you on your own time, on your own schedule. You bring peace and tranquility to my life, and that is what I really need right now. Thanks to you, I try to now make some form of art every single day. I did, however, fail to wear me some gloves (but I didn't forget to wear my dust mask!), and now I'm sporting a little slice on my finger. But anyway, your voice has become my inner voice, and that's helped me so much. I'm working on some art for you right now; I think I may actually send it to you when I'm done. Much love, Crafsman.
CrafsMan, I'm right there with you. I speed so much time looking online & replying to people that I lose time. Why say in a few words what I can say in several paragraphs? LOL It happens.
But on the content of your videos, while I don't have all the equipment you enjoy using, it excites me to see what you do next. Do I have a 3D printer? No. Do I want one? Sure, but I can't afford one & if I had one, I couldn't afford the supplies I'd need to run one. Injection mold is the same way, but that doesn't matter. I love whatever it is I see you doing. With your content, I want you to be happy. Do what you want to do. Do it in the time span you want to do it in. When CrafsMan is happy, I'm happy. Placing a check mark on a list for the sake of a routine never made anybody happy.
Don't feel obligated to switch topics because people complain. Don't feel obligated to do anything anytime unless you're being paid to do something, and then only do that when it's what you want to be doing.
Hey Crafmama sounds really smart. I bet between the two of you, whatever you come up with will work for everyone.

I would MUCH rather wait a little bit longer between videos than watch you start to dislike what you are doing because you are just checking off boxes. It's worth a wait to watch a video that you are proud of and that makes you smile. All of your videos make ME smile, but if you become unhappy then there won't be any videos at all, so take care of yourself and figure out how to keep enjoying what you do!

No matter what you decide to do, you have support behind you!
You could always do a steady craftin video every other week and then maybe an update video in between just talkin about what you got going on, ideas you have, etc.
It would give you two weeks to focus on an art video and then a more podcast style video.
Just a suggestion.
