    I'm down with the 5 points of articulation! It's my favorite also. The GI Joes are great but I'm a little intimidated to customize them because of the tiny rivets in the joints. I would love to see some info on the their rivets if you ever get a chance. Very cool as usual!

    • @TheCrafsMan
      @TheCrafsMan  3 года назад +13

      Ohhhh, I hear you on that one. I have thought about molding GI JOE parts and using them in a 5-points figure. So for example, it would be a GI JOE leg all together, with no knee joint... just like a Star Wars figure. So we keep to the 5-pts style AND avoid the little complicated parts. :)

    One of my favorite Joes was Alpine because he had the little grappling hooks and some string accessories. When I was a kid I loved to string lines from the stairs and slide my joes on them. Really put the action into action figures.

    The B.A.T.s were my favorite GI Joe figure too. For many reasons.
    1: Androids. . . robots are one of the top 3 rules of cool.
    2: Multiple weapon loadouts specific to the figure.
    3: They were black and yellow. I grew up in Pittsburgh and all our sports teams have those colors.
    4: The lenticular chest piece was the icing on the cake.
    I had enough of these to make a small squad and I loved them. I can only giggle at the thought of the mayhem I could cause if I would've had a battalion of these guys. . .

    Wow, absolutely loved this Crafsman. The GI Joe B.A.T. was one of my absolute favorites as well and one that I was so incredibly stoked to find. Most all of my GI Joe figures came from Wal-Mart and if you were a Wal-Mart GI Joe kid, you know that most always the good stuff was picked over and sold quick. So one day I go in Wal-Mart with my mom and I go straight to the GI Joe section. I'm going through the figures that are hung on the peg and a few figures deep, I found the B.A.T.! I quickly grabbed it up and took off to my mom who agreed to get it for me bc of its rarity. It was the crown jewel of Wal-Mart GI Joe figures lol!
