Today I chatted with you guys about my pain story. I have a history in dance, and have always been an athlete. If you've ever dealt with scoliosis, joint aches, joint pain, chronic pain, weak muscles, hyperextension, or anything that has hindered you in health, I hope you can relate to me in this story time video.
My health journey is not a straight line. I have dealt with a lot of pain pretty much my whole life, and I ended up going on Vitamin C at about 250 grams a day, and after that, things started to take a turn for the better. After a few months, I became healthy again. I ended up dancing again the following winter, and dance became a huge part of my life.
I have seen chiropractors, physical therapists, I have had heel lifts and have tried almost every method to get my body back in the right position. This is when a doctor suggested spincor brace. At first, I was skeptical, but then found that it had some of the best reviews. I was hopeful and excited.
After meeting with the doctor, he concluded that I wasn't a candidate for the spincor brace. After the x-ray, I found out that I only have an 8 degree curve. He also said that he doesn't think that I have scoliosis.
I had been doing all of my exercises and doing everything I could to help my body heal, and nothing had worked yet. After speaking with more specialists, I had a little more clarity. After an atlas adjustment, I didn't feel very different.
After that, I slept a lot. I have been in more pain since then, and haven't felt like I've hit a breakthrough yet for whats really wrong. I am hoping that when I share my story (and and update video), I can help a few of you who deal with similar issues. If you have any questions for me, leave them in the comments below!
