I reset my Z9 before I updated it 5.0 and I found out that the v5.0 Bird Detection works much better but the Update Description does not mention anything about AF.
@@georgetran1766 I don’t have a lot. The addendum is pretty vague in that type A provides conventional NR and type B “the noise appears differently from the conventional mode”. I haven’t had a chance yet to actually test it out though.
I put in my my Z9, I didn't think any of the Updates were any Roaring Hell, plus the Image Files are not fully compatible with the version of NX I am using. No version of NX has functioned properly since 1.2.2.. So Yesterday I reinstalled Ver. 4.10, and it appears that that will be the final Firmware for my Z9
I agree, I feel like they could have added more. I was really surprised they didn’t include pixel shift shooting like they did on the recent Z8 update.
Thanks for demonstrating what each of the updates actually does. Lord knows it's obvious from the description given (i.e. Hight ISO NR (noise reduction) mode - Type A "conventional NR. Type B noise appears differently from the conventional mode) WTF? Thanks Nikon for being crystal clear. Sorry, but this video does nothing to explain what's going on or to show you did anything else but read the spec sheet.
Excellent job covering the new 5.0 update and all of the new features !
Thank you!!
Excellent 👏 First video explaining all the update features in firmware version 5.0.
Thank you! That was definitely my plan to ensure every new update was touched on.

That’s awesome to know!
@@willchaneyphoto The v5.00 has HIGH ISO NR Type A and Type B. Do you have any information on these? Thank you.

Hi! What means "Added [DX (24×16)] to image area options"? DX area was there from the beginning. Has anything changed?
This is specifically for Auto Capture. Prior to the 5.0, Auto Capture could only shoot FX.

What should I do now? Only one update has been updated. Is there a way to update the other?
If you updated to 5.00, there should be nothing else today. All the updates should be available.

Thanks, that’s all it was intended to be. A walkthrough for those who didn’t want to read it themselves and would like to hear the updates. 😊
