- Teaching your kids to waterski is easy if they're up for the experience! Thanks go out to O'Brien Waterski Athlete Glenn Campbell who shared his son's first day waterskiing with us!
Our three year old appreciated how you taught your son. It was a careful progression of skills and positions and he really enjoys watching this video over and over.

I had skis like that when I was little! I learned skiing when I was 4! Now I’m 12 slalom skiing and doing tricks and outside the wake! Your kid is gonna be a great skier!
Gonna be some of the best memories for him :) Beautiful.
What a brilliant way to bring him into water sports in a safe way, and in his own time. I wish I had the forethought to have done this with my kids.

What kind of skis were those and where can we get a set?
Hey Steve! Sorry we didn't catch this one until now. The inflatable "ski" is called the O'Brien Simple Trainer and the more traditional trainer skis are called the All Star Trainers. At the moment all of our inventory has been purchased by dealers, so we recommend reaching out to your local dealer to see if they have any in stock (our dealer locator can be found here... www.obrien.com/dealers) or do some searching on your favorite web browser to see if you can buy it online. You don't have to learn to water ski so slow like this. You can have an adult with him in deep water to keep his skis up.
