I actually can wakeboard but i send this video to 5 friends and they are impressed and they actually learned it! Thank you and stay strong! Lads and Lassies :)
To know if someone is left foot forward or right foot forward I've found it works best to tell them to spin around like they would when they were a kid to make themselves dizzy. From the perspective of watching from above... they spin counter clockwise - left foot forward, they spin clockwise - right foot forward. All has to do with natural frontside spin direction. Hasn't failed me yet! :)
Just some small tips that helped me . When starting keep your dominant (or forward) hand in the middle of the bar and the other one right beside it. It just helps guide and turn the board towards where you want it to go
This is great! I just bought a board this spring and am very excited to practice at my cabin this summer. It's by the ocean tho, and norwegian seas are pretty cold and windy so it will be interesing........
One thing that helps me get up when boat wakeboarding is just as I say "hit it" and start to feel the line pull me I twist the board so my right foot is lower and partially submerge that corner of the board. This way helps me get up on the board faster and easier for and also positions me in the way I prefer to ride at the beginning. If I leave the board horizontal across so much water comes over the board and I never get up. My 12 yro has the same problem and finds that twisting the board at the beginning helps him too. We surf more so maybe that's why that's more comfortable for us to start like that. He went from a system 124 to a hooky 128 this year - night and day! So much more easier for him.
interesting. I've seen people learn that way however I've never thought people it that way - I've no doubt it works though! Definitely a bit of the wakesurfing coming into play there haha.
question how do i come over the fear to send a trick I have been wakeboarding on boat for like 2 summers now but have only landed some 180s, just learned wake to wake and want to learn some more tricks much love from sweden
hey, so there's two things you can do. 1. Be so confident in your basics (tricks listed above) that the chances of having a bad fall are much lower. 2. I hate saying it, but just try. It's all about going outside your comfort zone (in a safe way). I would suggest trying to learn wake to wake 180s etc..... and grabs and then try some inverts :)
I need help spraying kickers before you hit a kicker. I don't know why but I always fall. I landed a couple 180's off a kicker but always fell trying to spray it with water before.
Hello I have been watching for a while now but just recently subscribed (sorry for that but I have been forgetting) but I just tried to wake board today and got up after about 15-30 tries on an old inboard outboard boat. Anyways After putting my right foot into the boot after a crash I noticed that I had ripped through the boot and wanted to know what boots I should get for a beginner rider and for decently cheap because I don’t have enough money for expensive boots right now because of coronavirus. And second my life jacket is the right size but isn’t fitting to my body right so it keeps riding up on my chest and getting In my face so what would be a good (cheapish) life jacket or life vest (one of the shirt kind of life jackets without zippers or buckles)
I have 0 flexibility and can't keep my knees bent long before they shake. After 4 falls my hands hurt and my legs are pounding lol Guess I need to work out more smh
Do some simple “toe touch” stretches for a solid week every morning and you should be good! Start standing up and simply bend down as far as you can holding for 60 seconds. Do it 4-5 times each morning for a week and I can almost guarantee you will see results in the water!
Hey Jody, I would say the two best free ones that I know of are iMovie and Windows media maker (I've never used windows media maker but I've heard it's similar to iMovie). there's also great ones available on smart phones.
so let go of the rope and get to the position he is on in 3:50 after youre in that position unstrap the velcro or laces and take youre feet off the boots, then you can swim back to the boat holding the board. any other questions?
@@crisa.935 thanks i just wasn’t sure if this was posible when still in the water since some of these boot ties seem very tight and kind of hard to unlace
I watched this as I was heading to the river and didn’t even finish the video but got up FIRST TRY! So helpful!
Seems like a lovely Irish summer day :D
hahahah

How warm your water is there in that lake? In Ireland good warm weather right now ^^ no rain
hahah yeah it's good weather. Not sure of the exact temp but I'd guesss 11 or 12 degrees

@@DavidOCaoimhWakeboarder Thanks man, I'll give it a go🤙
I am terrible at skateboarding already but now I literally have no chance
How long would say it takes to make your first flips consistent? Working on hs backrole and tantrums and ive only landed the back role 3 times.
Can you get up facing forward like you did with fins on the wakeboard?
Totally different if you are being pulled from the back of the boat.
Hey I'd like to know what life jacket you are wearing and what kind of helmet?
What life jacket are you using
What if the tow rope is low on the boat hip height 75’ as a beginner
Please what is pulling him? From the air?
Going this weekend!! What’s the water like?? 😂😂
it's absotlely class! :)
How do you get out of the boots to get back on the boat ??
so let go of the rope and get to the position he is on in 3:50 after youre in that position unstrap the velcro or laces and take youre feet off the boots, then you can swim back to the boat holding the board. any other questions?

Yeah maneeee
How can I get over the fear of a railey ??? I want to try them but i'm to scared to do a faceplant.
3:44
Aren't you suppose to bend your knees or is it ok if you don't ?
Decent
How much is a trip to the wake park?
it really depends on the wake park, the country it's located it and also on the time in the day/week (peak and off peak)
At what angles is your board set? Sometimes I think my back feet is terribly wrong...
hey, they should be identical on each side ideally. :)
@@DavidOCaoimhWakeboarder okayy and the angels don't matter?
