    I fully agree with H.H Wakeboard. I've been boarding cables for about 15 years now. Your commitment, passion and enthusiasm are inspiring even for veteran boarders ;)
    Further more, you seem to have a talent to explain the wakeboardlanguage & scene into "normal" english. Keep it up!

    Thanks David und guten Morgen ;)!
    I am currently working on those things and also riding with my hand in blind position and handle bar transfers. My problem is that somehow I feel like the cable is restricting me if that makes any sense (coming from snowboarding and skating). I guess I need to learn how to get less tension in the rope when I need it.

    my wife and I tried wakeboarding for the first time, man, your deep core muscles hurt a lot, not to speak of shoulder blades and triceps. I'll definitely learn more stuff. BTW, "lads and lassies" sounds so sweet. thumbs up!

    Hello I have been watching for a while now but just recently subscribed (sorry for that but I have been forgetting) but I just tried to wake board today and got up after about 15-30 tries on an old inboard outboard boat.
    Anyways
    After putting my right foot into the boot after a crash I noticed that I had ripped through the boot and wanted to know what boots I should get for a beginner rider and for decently cheap because I don’t have enough money for expensive boots right now because of coronavirus.
    And second my life jacket is the right size but isn’t fitting to my body right so it keeps riding up on my chest and getting In my face so what would be a good (cheapish) life jacket or life vest (one of the shirt kind of life jackets without zippers or buckles)

      Hey How's things :)
      Okay awesome. So to answer both your questions.
      1. Bindings. If it's for a beginner and you want something nice and cheap then I'd suggest Open Toe. Something like these for just over $200 obrien.com/product/2020-obrien-connect-wakeboard-bindings/
      If these are still out of your budget then I'd recommend getting on craigslist or something similar, you should find something that will do the job for quite cheap.
      2. Similar situation, if you want something nice and cheap then craigslist, however as it's a vest I'd be cautious and maybe consider spending a small bit more for your safety. If it rides up on you then I'd think that it's slightly too big (generally this is the cause of that). Also, trying on a vest helps laods too :)

    Hey David, Great vid! This might be a silly question but do you recommend keeping your fins on the wakeboard or taking them off at a certain point? Keep up the awesome work man!

    • @DaveTW65
      @DaveTW65 4 года назад

      BozoBobWart 333 I second that question

    • @LikeABawzs
      @LikeABawzs 4 года назад +1

      If you want to do obstacles, take em off. If you dont, and you are able to do surface 180s with it. Leave em on. Behind the boat, leave em on.

    • @DavidOCaoimhWakeboarder
      @DavidOCaoimhWakeboarder  4 года назад +1

      yeah so basically I think if it's on boat then keep them on and if it's on cable take them off. However I'll do a full video on this soon as it also depends if the board has folded fins and channels. :)

    • @DaveTW65
      @DaveTW65 4 года назад

      I only board behind a boat but my beginner boards were quite flat and featureless on the bottom and as a beginner found it easier to cut and steer with fins,last year I moved up to an intermediate obrian board similar to Dave’s and found it impossible to switch with fins on with the board in the water,long story short-a board that is taylored to your style shouldn’t need them once you reach a certain level
