    Fantastic stuff lads. Being able to see the difference so clearly like that really does show really well how people are going wrong.
    The problem with most tutorials (not just yours but everyones really) is that they make everything look so easy that it’s hard for beginners to understand why it’s not working for them. By showing the common mistakes actually happen it’s really useful and super relatable for beginners.

    Great video. For me, the raley (and many other things I thought I am too stupid to learn) unlocked itself by doing balance and core strength and mobility exercises, especially in the hip area. Also made a world of difference in everything from snowboarding, motocross, climbing, boxing to even disc golf, so it has been the most rewarding training i've ever done. Now I know what is mean by hip drive because I can feel it and put my weight behind it. It would have most likely prevented some serious injuries too that I have suffered. I have been active my whole life and thought very highly of my physique but I was complacent and was not taking care of the fundamentals to be able to really do stuff to my full potential. Basically in this context: you can't do a good raley unless your body is fit for the job and it is as fit as its weakest link. Of course this won't apply to everyone out there, but I know it does for surprisingly many. It's boring job to fix but the rewards are well worth it.

    What an awesome video!!! been wanting to get this trick down for a long time. This video is so different than the other tutorial vids out there. This is super effective in showing us side by side comparisons between Liam and other common errors that a lot of us do. Thanks a lot guys, killing it as usual. Hoping you guys continue this series, maybe a backroll tutorial with this same format? Smashing the like button on this one for sure!!

    Great Video guys. How many people of the group managed to land a ralley? Still scared to even try one. And would you recommend to try it on a 2.0 system rather than a classic cable that runs a little slower (28km/h)? Thanks alot.

    • @ThePeacockBrothers
      @ThePeacockBrothers  2 года назад +3

      Everybody in this video landed it in the end! We would say trying it on a system 2.0, but as tempting as it is we think that learning them on the corners is actually worse than learning on the straights. It can get you into very bad habits easily. Unfortunately with the Raley there is only one way to learn...

    Good stuff! However I have a different problem, 4 out of 10 attempts I have weird board suction feeling which makes my flight quite low and fast. Something wrong with the scoop?

    • @ThePeacockBrothers
      @ThePeacockBrothers  2 года назад +2

      Try to keep both knees a little bit bent, suction can sometimes happen from having straight legs on the release!

    • @owencourtney6743

      Try to lead the scoop with your front foot, and let your back foot follow

    Good thing to cover. But what I really want to know is why I can’t handle pass my Air tricks but I can handle pass on kickers.

    • @LinkinParkFuckYeah
      @LinkinParkFuckYeah 2 года назад +1

      it's possible that you throw your airtricks too far to the side from the main cable, thus creating more pull inwards while you are in the air. try releasing earlier so that while you're in the air you're not too far to the right/left

    • @brendanmanteiga9477
      @brendanmanteiga9477 2 года назад

      @@LinkinParkFuckYeah I do make effort to release as close to under the cable as possible. But then I also see other riders load their 313’s for like 4 whole seconds before releasing. They’re outside of the cable and they still rip the handle in for the pass. I just gotta exercise better technique.

    • @ThePeacockBrothers
      @ThePeacockBrothers  2 года назад +3

      If you can really release hard then the cable will pull you more and create a bit more slack in the line. On the kicker it is easy as you can pull yourself forward easier, whereas with an air trick you have to try and really use the elasticity of the line to ping you to create slack. Hope this helps a little!

    • @monke2303
      @monke2303 2 года назад

      @@ThePeacockBrothers im trying tl learn the 313 nkw and I also have this problem. So what you are saying is that you need to scoop very aggresively so you get more slack in the rope?

    • @ThePeacockBrothers
      @ThePeacockBrothers  2 года назад +5

      That will definitely help. It is very important on a 313 to try and keep weight on your front foot so as not to “stargaze”. It is easy to think that by loading the back foot it will make the rotation easier but in fact it is the opposite. Equal weight, short cut and hard scoop will massively help! Hope this helps you 😃

    Would be great if someone could post tutorial with an above view to see where carrier is on cable to know exactly when to load n launch after turning corner

    • @ThePeacockBrothers
      @ThePeacockBrothers  4 месяца назад

      Every cable is a little bit different, but usually if you come round the corner, get under the running wires and then begin your edge after around 2 seconds. The place in which you perform the raley shouldn’t really make a big difference as long as you are loading the line tension correctly!
