+Steve Miller people think I'm crazy when I say this, but I really want to visit North Korea, I know realistically you aren't going to see how people REALLY live, but just being there to experience what you can. Am I crazy?
I have known a few people who have gone and spoken to a few on a previous version of the podcast. However, given the fact that the DPRK can arbitrarily detain an individual and that most of the money from tourism is funneled to the regime, rather than helping people, I'm not sure going will provide the kind of experience most want.

I wonder how many North Koreans don't even realize how different it is in the rest of the world.
That is something I'd really like to see. I really want to see what life is like deep in the remote provinces.

Steve Miller good point about where the money goes, as tourists we often overlook that.
