While the Lunar Module missed its intended landing site on the Moon, and experienced some minor problems during the descent, it nevertheless experienced a smooth and safe landing. Armstrong and Aldrin conducted a two-and-a-half-hour walk on the Moon. This government film segment summarizes their first impressions and the experiments they conducted on the lunar surface.
