Apollo 12 | Manned Space Flight Quarterly Report, No. 27 - October-December 1969

Apollo 12 was the first to deploy a full Apollo Lunar Surface Experiments Package, a set of scientific equipment and laboratory instruments left on the lunar surface to autonomously conduct long-term studies of the surrounding environment. This government film segment details the package's various components. It also recounts Conrad and Bean's inspection of the Surveyor 3 spacecraft, which landed on the Moon more than two years earlier.
