I ended up with a goose egg this week, but I had fun. Thank you for putting these out. Especially this week, when the con man bamboozled everyone and won in politics. We need the joy of gaming.
7600 (got an extra 800 on the final!). Thanks Marc, this was a great distraction from the world this week, and I appreciate your subtle wardrobe-based commentary.
An idea for a category I would like to see are Parody Musicals, where you can ask question about musicals who were crated to mock other musicals, like “five: the musical” parody of Six but with the women in Donald trumps life, or “Unfortunate: the untold story of Ursula the sea witch” Parody of Wicked and the little mermaid.
This was a great episode and boy did we ever need this this week!!! Thank you Marc again for all that you do. With deepest appreciation, April, Christopher, The Fabulous Izzy B & The Notorious MMB!
I love "Of Thee I Sing" - I have the cast album with Carroll O'Connor and I wish there would be a revival, but perhaps several years from now, considering things....
These are so great! I really love your Jeopardy and original content. Thank you for putting these together every week for us. It’s such a gift, particularly this week when America completely lost its mind and hired a convicted felon for the top job in the country. Even in a musical, no one would believe that could happen. Just wanted to ask you if you’ve seen an original musical called “The Musical of Musicals”? I ran into it accidentally on RUclips and while it’s clearly not Broadway production quality it’s a love letter to musicals. You might like it.
Another fun episode. Keep them coming. This time I did far better in the $800 round than the $600 round, unusual, but all about which shows I've seen and which ones I haven't rather than the difficulty of the questions. Total for the game $4800 as I bet nothing on the finall category.
I scored 24,400 this week, missing Bedknobs & Broomsticks, and Of The I Sing completely; and couldn’t remember Leap of Faith in time. lol. Luckily I made it for it with final jeopardy
Music Man is one of my favorite shows, and I do like the movie, because of Robert Preston. But it's NOT perfect, because Shirley Jones refused to sing "My White Knight," Marian's best song!
Dick Van Dyke was very unhappy with the film's focus on Ann-Margaret, and said it should have been called "Hello, Ann-Margaret" instead of "Bye Bye Birdie".
While not really remembered by many as a singer, but more for being Gomer Pyle (USMC), Jim Nabors sang The Impossible Dream like it was written for him. Also, if you were going to mention Jack Jones' version & play his clip, you should have also paid respect to the fact that he passed away last week. 😕 I am curious to know how Dame Patricia Routledge, famous for her role as Hyacinth Bucket ("It's pronounced Bouquet, dear") in BBC's Keeping Up Appearances, ended up in a musical about American presidents. Granted, the musical may have come before she'd made a name for herself, but a British actress playing on Broadway as American president wives? There's an interesting story there somewhere. 🤔
Watching this super late but LOF opened in April of 2012 and closed in May 2012 (I think you confused the October dates when it ran in LA in Oct of 2010) I am Raúl trash and it's my fave flop ripperoni
I'm shocked you didn't mention "Suffs" in Political Musicals! I'm sure you hard of it but it's an all women and non-binary cast about the women's suffrage movement. The music is fabulous and I highly recommend you check it out.
You missed a trick - I was hoping one of the answers to a question in the Which Witch is Which category was the flop, 1992 musical 'Which Witch' it lasted 76 perfromances. And yet there is a pro shot video of it on youtube. It's truely dreadful.
Boy do we need fun and games right now!!
Agreed ❤!

Oh gosh I missed that completely, thanks for pointing it out - had a good laugh 😂
Edmond from Royal Oak MI scored a whopping 20,000! And no cheating this week! Thanks for a wonderful respite from weekly chaos!
After 25 episodes I decided to keep score. It went about as well as Tuesday did. 1600. That number is cursed!
Love the t shirt. It suits. You’re a star. Thanks for being here.

I second this 👍

Bit of trivia: Harold Hill's real first name is Gregory. Marcellus mentions it during their first meeting.
Right off the bat I love the wardrobe choices 😂
Also, he wasn’t just Mr. Feeney, he was the voice of K.I.T.T. on Knight Rider!
Thank you for another awesome episode! I'm dying inside because of Tuesday, so this is a light in the darkness of this week!!❤
When Marc said "Around the World" did anyone else start singing the song from Grey Gardens? 😂
I look so forward to this every week!
Swept like Cinderella LOL
I got $19,600!! This is probably my best score since you started Broadway Jeopardy. Thanks!!
Thanks for another great game! I just KNEW Light In The Piazza was going to be in the "around the world" category. You got me!!!!!
Final score: $6,000. Definitely needed this after all that’s happened lately. A little bit of fun after all the sadness and anger and the tears.
I love "Of Thee I Sing" - I have the cast album with Carroll O'Connor and I wish there would be a revival, but perhaps several years from now, considering things....
omg I love American Idiot! Such a good musical!

12,000. Getting 3 1000 questions and the daily double helped
Oh man that's the first time I've gotten final in a while! So glad I knew that! Wound up with $12400!
Simple $5600 this week. I still love this series
The quest - no mention of Brian Stokes Mitchell!!!
I totally enjoy this each week and look forward to it. Please keep going. Don’t stop!
Re: The Impossible Dream (I saw Richard Kiley in the show in Boston), I've also heard it in French, sung by Jacques Brel.

I'm kicking myself for thinking it was Chicago, and not Cabaret!
I love these so much!! Thank you for continuing to make them each week for us
Always fun!!!
$6000! I missed some questions in the higher rounds, but got Bye Bye Birdie in the final.
I scored 24,400 this week, missing Bedknobs & Broomsticks, and Of The I Sing completely; and couldn’t remember Leap of Faith in time. lol. Luckily I made it for it with final jeopardy

Got almost all of the answers on this 1! But I cry foul on hitting us with a film question. 🙋♀️
There was a production of Bedknobs and Broomsticks in Chicago a couple years ago!
subscribed!
5000 - I think, my cat walked across my iPad as I was keeping score.

8200 today!
I got 13,000 having 9,000 before final jeopardy and risking 4,000 and getting it right
And nothing on Fiorello
What, no mention of the random random Lucky Stiff movie?? ;)
I definitely expected to see Fiorello in the political musical category, though I guess that would be NY politics not general US
Great episode! But umm actually. It’s Nimue that enchants Merlin. Canonically different than Morgan La Fey

$17600
Missed 4
