My absolute favorite Fosse number is Rich Man's Frug - it's so iconic. Beyonce even nods to the choreography in the music video for Get Me Bodied! 8200 today!
I loved your story about Noises Off. I'm looking forward to seeing the show on stage here in Boston next week at the Lyric Stage Company. The movie version of the show is one of my favorite films.
You make my Thursdays happy, no matter how the day is going! 😀 I always start off well, thanks for the easy questions, then start fading! But it always fun! I know choreographers but obviously don't remember what shows they did. I was hoping my favorite one would have been and answer but he wasn't, Tommy Tune! "See" ya next week!🥰
Only 4800 but it was fun. Thank you for doing this every week. Even though I haven’t heard of a lot of what you’re talking about, I absolutely love watching this.
As a Passion freak (it was the first new Sondheim show I was aware of when it opened when I was 13) and a Passion defender, I have to nitpick. Officially the credit is Passion is based on Passione d'Amore, the film Sondheim saw ten years earlier, but before Lapine and Sondheim started adapting it, they had the Tarchetti novel Fosca privately translated (which is amazingly somewhat autobiographical with Giorgio based on Tarchetti himself, who died at age 29 before the novel was finished serialization.) And while it follows the structure of the film, the musical is MUCH MUCH closer to the novel (with key sequences not in the film, like I Read, coming from the novel and without the film's slightly ironic take on the material.) The commercial translation of the novel didn't come out until the musical (and used its title Passion though the translator claims he was hired to work on it before anyone knew about the musical.) Also for one of your first questions, it's a *revue* not a *review* a pet peeve of mine (though it can be confusing--and at least one revue, Putting it Together, called itself a musical review as a pun (a revue that is a review of Sondheim works.)
The community theatre I work at is kicking off the 2025 season with Noises Off! Also, you should do a six degrees of separation category, that would be so much fun.
Ended up with a final score of 25,600. My highest score ever. I got all of the 1000 dollar questions correct, which is my first time ever. I had some trouble with the choreographer category. I think you should do a category of flop musicals
I saw the movie of LaCage in a cinema in Melbourne Australia and two women behind me whispered they do that you know when the father kissed his heterosexual son
When you said “waiting in the wings” I realised how cool it would be if Wait In The Wings did a category. Get Brendan in there! 🥰
You hear that @WaitintheWings!! The people want you!!
Final tally: $7,400. Got $200 for Final Jeopardy. Can’t wait for the Christmas category next week!

OMG. Your tap dancing, followed by the Sarah McLaughlin duck memorial just cracked me up!!! Thanks for another great episode!!
Thanks for all the fun! Watching these I also have learned about shows I didn't know!
Happy holidays everyone!!!
You forgot another farm category . Name the show which includes a cow’s name called Caroline ? Dainty June and her farm boys from Gypsy .
Edmond from Royal Oak MI…blew the final jeopardy and ended up with only $600. Oh well…thanks for another fun week!

What is the show represented on Mark's t-shirt? I can't place it.

While I admit it is better on stage, I love the movie of Noises Off!

Another fun show!!
And thanks for including a. play. Category!!!
Bravo

While I didn't get everything right. I did sweep the choreography and sisters category.

Final score was $18,400! Not too shabby.

Rough game here, just 5200. Still fun though!
I only got $5,800 today. Didn’t do as well in the “Based on a Foreign Film” category.
1900. I really don’t know my choreographers. Or farm animals.
Just 5k this week.
I saw the movie of LaCage in a cinema in Melbourne Australia and two women behind me whispered they do that you know when the father kissed his heterosexual son
