    That would even look good with the mountains going in opposite directions... even different woods.. oak going one way, walnut the opposite..... there you go, that's your next 20 or more make the walnut shorter and the oak higher...... snow capped mountain s...... not that you can actually see the effect with it stuffed with napkins...... but, it has to worth more.....

      I made one and took a different direction - I made the mountain ranges based on photographs I took on a trip to the Grand Canyon last year. The front and back are completely different. It’s a gift for my wife’s brother who has a mountain cabin.

      I would also like to know that. I just have the planer.

    • @Bearded-Viking-WoodWorks
      @Bearded-Viking-WoodWorks  Год назад +2

      I’ll do a video on how to use just a planer , but to try and answer that quickly , yes . You would need a piece of birch ply or MDF at least 1/2” thick , then you can either hot glue your piece that you want planed or you can double side tape it to the flat piece of birch or MDF , adjust any big gaps with a wedge so it doesn’t have movement while it’s running through the planer , and just take it nice and steady little by little until you get that top completely planed flat , then remove the piece from the birch or MDF and carry on using your now flat face to make the other side flat . I hope that helps answer y’all’s question. Thanks for tuning in guys ‘ you guys are ROCK STARS 🌟

    Hey Daniel, first of all I love your videos and all you’re sharing what you sell it for. I’m doing woodworking as well however I haven’t found the time yet as I’m in the middle of renovation, but I like to start in 2024 making these small items. I had one question as I’m not familiar with Etsy at all, but can you please give me an idea what you need to pay Etsy? Do you have to pay them a fee?
    Thank You!
    Johan

      20¢ per listing per month , and then they take 6% I believe , don’t quote me on the 6% but it’s something like that , they also have a marketing campaign you can use which tends too work out pretty good when you need it . 🫡

      @@Bearded-Viking-WoodWorks Interesting, because it's not in your Etsy shop nor in your shop's sales history. On top of that, the "screenshots"" you've shown in this video are not even real screenshots. Fake titles, different fonts etc. So I'm really wondering what's going on here..
