    You tend to wonder why Ford never did this , especially with the convertible models.
    With all the weight , not only with a full load (4 passengers), but driving on bumpy roads with a full load, you really would think Ford would have strengthened the entire thing with these connectors. I mean these prevent sag as-well-as twist.
    With all of the great cars those guys designed back then , what were they thinking.
    But I guess that's it. That weren't

    I would have over-lapped the front..but still a great improvement over stock
