Absolutely fantastic. I have a 73, am finishing up new full length floorpans. I will be buying the same subframe connectors tomorrow. Great mindset for adding strength to the structure. Hi from Texas
Yes, I did make those repairs. In my case, I welded the holes, used seam sealer and Eastwood Platinum. In addition to using POR 15 rubberized undercoating on the bottom of the floor in 2 coats. Of, course, the car was sand blasted as well beforehand.

What about torsional ridgidity?
Not a concern
Well, its will be better then before.
Add cros bracing behind rear seat and strut tower bracing with monte carlo bar in front....to.improve torsional.
How do you inow the chassis square and not twisted prior to welding?
Measured it against some factory specs
Kill the tunes dude while you are talking..
Apart from that - Excellent info..
