A friend of the family who was ex special forces did all the photography for Discovery, Nat Geo etc, he had a family of rescued meerkats in the UK raising them to be released abroad one day, among loads of exotics but I'll never forget the meerkats, they're more loyal than dogs, love to play fetch, neck scratches and belly rubs, sleep on you like Garfield and will follow you literally everywhere you go.
There are no records of cheetahs EVER killing a human in the wild. Like any wild animal they should be treated with respect, they're not considered dangerous. The Persians used to domesticate cheetahs and use them like hunting dogs, similar to grey hounds or lurchers.
FWIW, a cheetah is probably the safest big cat you could meet. They're not especially strong, and have weak jaws (for a big cat) and blunt non-retractable claws.
Kevin is amazing for rescuing all the animals he has. I saw the lion baby park documentary and my heart was in my throat. His animals have been exposed to humans but are still very large, wild animals and I hope he stays safe. He respects them, it's amazing watching his interactions.
It was an eurasian brown bear!!! They tend to not kill people unless they feel threatened, (particularlly if mama bear with cubs). Even though some idiot a couple of hundred years ago classified all bears as carnivores (including the giant panda!), the only carnivourous bear is the polar bear, all the rest of them are omnivores (like us), and pandas live in all practicallity like herbivores because they are dependant on bamboo for survival.

Wondering if it is an escapee from a park, or even something mentally wrong with it. Or just like you said, so full it isn't totally aware of it's surroundings. Also we know that cats can develop dementia, so I find it quite likely that the same goes for other mammals as well, and could be a possibility. Have u seen "Grizzly Man"? Highly recommended! Wathcing young bears graze like cattle is prizeless!! And the one that ended them was a 27 year old male from a different area that wandered there at a time when the "local" grizzlies had gone onto hibernation, so something was definitely wrong with it.

I have to say: Sharks are probably the poorest bastards in the animal kingdom. The two deadliest animals are by a VERY long shot mosquitos and the killer bee. Ever since Jaws dropped people are unnecessarily antagonizing sharks, which I honestly find incredibly sad. Even dolphins (in captivity) kill more people than sharks (in captivity) and for some reason we all like them...
You're being overly simplistic. I've been bitten by thousands of mosquitos over the course of my lifetime and I was fine. I was bitten by a shark once and my juggling career was ended. Way more people die in the light than in the dark, yet for some reason people remain scared of the dark and not the light. And btw, sharks kill more people than dolphin. And I think you should seriously consider re-evaluating your own ability to process information
@pmbbmp Well, it's hard to argue against someone, who has literally experienced a shark attack himself, so I will not try and do that, but I still wish to say, that anecdotal evidence is not a good way to go about things. I agree, that sharks kill more on average than dolphins, but the fantasy of the nice dolphin is also 100% flawed. Dolohins literally kill and rape for fun... What I maybe mean to say is, that the picture of how dagerous an animal really is usually has very, very little to do with how scared we are of it.
Respect them they will Respect you ,animals are wonderful creatures, nature gives us so much to have and hold ,and enjoy and must at all times preserved what is given to us .Nature is a beautiful thing every animal must be protected.
These nature videos are always BS. Back in 2010, Backshall travelled to Norway for an episode of Deadly 60, meeting a scientist called Tess at a research station where she studied wolves up close. The wild wolves were already well accustomed to Tess, they are literally climbing on top of her and licking her face. This is not some random encounter, you can see the fence lines running around the area. Despite what the narrator says the wolves were completely expected.
Boris was lucky the cat liked his hair, that would of been so cool, I always wanted a serval cat, they are beautiful... I love animal videos, because I love animals.
Then of course there's that one antarctic photographer who had a leopard seal believing he was an infuriatingly disabled leopard seal and tried feeding him dead penguins. Gorgeous and hilarious moment.

It's always kind of funny how amazed people can be when animals manage to determine the two big qualifiers for acting chill: 1) You aren't a threat RIGHT NOW and (if its a predator) 2) Im not hungry and you're weird.
1:18 The bear (scientist) was observing the technique for gathering fish, nothing wrong there
A friend of the family who was ex special forces did all the photography for Discovery, Nat Geo etc, he had a family of rescued meerkats in the UK raising them to be released abroad one day, among loads of exotics but I'll never forget the meerkats, they're more loyal than dogs, love to play fetch, neck scratches and belly rubs, sleep on you like Garfield and will follow you literally everywhere you go.
Sweet isn’t it? I love to hear about these people and their experiences. It’s so awesome

A cheetah, barely 5 feet away - I aged 10 years within 10 seconds... but best photos ever.
@@antongromek4180 I'm Kenyan and while living in Ngong before more development, I had an encounter with a leopard as a teen.
There are no records of cheetahs EVER killing a human in the wild. Like any wild animal they should be treated with respect, they're not considered dangerous.
The Persians used to domesticate cheetahs and use them like hunting dogs, similar to grey hounds or lurchers.
@@speleokeir I'd still be scared as shit xD
FWIW, a cheetah is probably the safest big cat you could meet. They're not especially strong, and have weak jaws (for a big cat) and blunt non-retractable claws.
The predators are super calm, but the sheep is unnecessarily violent. This feels like a metaphor for society, doesn't it?
Kevin is amazing for rescuing all the animals he has. I saw the lion baby park documentary and my heart was in my throat. His animals have been exposed to humans but are still very large, wild animals and I hope he stays safe. He respects them, it's amazing watching his interactions.
Wildlife photographers have to be so patient to get the rt shots. Thank u for this clip! 🌹🐾🌹
The bear that sat next to him had Just Eaten A LOT and was full. THAT's why he didn't bother. Nothing but lucky.
Grizzly bears don't eat humans...they just beat the bark off you and go...hopefully. Bears in general, want nothing to do with humans.
@@johnsmind Probs mistook him for a Fisherman… They tend to leave the fish trims behind for the wild to clean up. Bear was like, where’s the fish?
It was an eurasian brown bear!!! They tend to not kill people unless they feel threatened, (particularlly if mama bear with cubs). They also are smaller than grizzlies and tend to avoid conforntation. Even though some idiot a couple of hundred years ago classified all bears as carnivores (including the giant panda!), the only carnivourous bear is the polar bear, all the rest of them are omnivores (like us), and pandas live in all practicallity like herbivores because they are dependant on bamboo for survival.
@@AnneAslaug well I’m not gonna argue with you bro but if you look at that bears gut, it is freaking packed so maybe that had something to deal with it too, but I’m not an expert. Although I still think that’s Hella lucky
@@johnsmind Honestly, I found it mostly strange. Normal behavior would not be to sit down right next to a human for any wild animal not used to people.
Wild predators expect pray to flee. They're super confused when you just stay motionless.
Dean Schneider’s critters adore him. It is a joy to watch.
That little lion cub was like a director, he sat at little chair too :-D
Animals have one rule with them "Don't disturb me and I won't disturb you too. "

Humans are equal to wildlife.
We're wild, and we're life.
Let's keep it that way, civilized.
On study as a zoologist, i had a near pet baby seal in Washington that hung out next to my deck with my dog. They were friends. Cute.

Dean Schneider and Kevin Richardson are great human beings dedicating their lives to the protection and conservation of wild animals.
They are both angels who love their lions and respect them as well. Great men doing great things for their creatures.
God bless them both for being able to love, cared, respect, and support each of their animal companions. They are loved in return with the love that only animals can give: unconditional love and affection. The greatest love that exists.
Love the video, it is very informative and interesting. And a special THANK YOU to the wildlife photographers, they did a superb job taking photos of precious and magnificent creatures. I bet they had fun with them, having these beautiful creatures around themselves. I believe they have the greatest job on earth! My respect to them, hat’s off to all of them. ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️👍👍👍
@@Highheels4ever Kevin has gone a long way to change the way people see hyenas. They are extremely intelligent, with a complex clan structure. They are not evil, cunning creatures. The original Lion King gave hyenas a bad name, like Jaws did for Great Whites.
It’s so cool to actually have a wild animal come up to you and be friendly ❤!!!!
Watching this video, you can see that even wild animals can connect with humans.
The lion relaxing next to the cameraman is the best.
Yeah specially the polar bear.
I got a pack of wolfs near my house I been hearing for the last few months. Love living in the forest mother nature is my true home 💓
If there was ever any proof required for "cameraman never dies" lore, this is it.
The day the cameraman used his catnip shampoo was memorable.

Your opening title pic is awesome, that lion cub is perfect.
Wow, nature always has a way of keeping us on our toes! It's incredible to see such unexpected moments captured on camera. What a reminder of the wild’s unpredictability!
Kevin Richardson is seen as part of the group by the hyenas. He's higher in hierarchy so he was able to do so. That was no random encounter.
Funny how so many guys like that eventually end up like that guy who thought he was buddy-buddy with the grizzlies.
@@4FYTfa8EjYHNXjChe8xs7xmC5pNEtz You may want to read up on Richardson, he's under no illusions, no ego, no arrogance, no 'god complex' etc issues there at all. Very much fully respects the animals, what they are capable of, the danger etc.

The innocence of most wild animals. They come to meet you and don't attack. Marvelous animals.
3:00 I think I've seen this story. Those wolves were raised by the guy and he brought his girlfriend to meet them. The wolves are like "Oh shi its my BOY HOW YOU BEEN DUDE.! Who dis? She smell like you. This yo b dog?! My boy!" Slaps hand.
Oh that makes sense. Wildlife photographers aren't supposed to interact with wild animals, but since this guy raised them I guess it's an exception

@@helopilotr you are very correct. Dolphins are a complete menace to us and even to some fishes. Misunderstood creatures both of them
Bees and mosquito are animals? Didn't know that I always thought they are insects 😅😅😅
@@Ian-mj4pt insects fall under the animal kingdom
The photo of the cub relaxing next to the camera man is awesome🌎
Yes, it is!
So lovely to see all these wild animals who could live together with humans. TRUST is the word.👍💗💗💗💗
