The general concept and process is the same. There may be differences in the volume specified and wiring colors. Consult the factory service manual for those details.

Yeah I did. Ground.... which everyone knows is the negative terminal of the battery, or any bare metal on the frame or engine.
Why don’t use switch on instead of wire
Because the prime cycle does not run long enough to make that an option. Proper test leads give you complete control.
