- From a bare shell to somewhere you can almost live in. The last 35 days have seen the building completed, electrical almost done, painting and tiling mostly done or under way. Solar hotter on the roof. A backhoe brought in to dig a cistern, septic tank and more importantly the pool takes shape.
Beautiful job of putting this together...Your place is really looking good!
Congrats! Lots of work...But...At the end, you'll enjoy this place for years...

I hope so! It's mostly what was planned but a lot of changes big and small are making it better.

Looks really good! With the scaffolding removed the lines are finally revealed and the proportions are very pleasing to the eye. I like the part wall on the carport to back yard wall. Everything is fitting on the lot so well. The footprint makes it look huge! Won’t be long now until you’re moving in.
We target to be in by end June. We have made a lot of changes both big and small but it's coming together well. Thanks for the comment.
I am absolutely astounded by how fast it appears to be coming along. It looks great and I can't wait to see the finished product.

Welcome aboard! Building is the fun part but when I decided to document I did not realise what it required. I am a very keen photographer and I found that doing video requires a very different approach.

Fingers crossed! It's a very full on thing this building a new house but I have a great engineer and the crew is amazing.
Please make sure that the correct tile cement is used on the tiles, as ordinary cement will not last long on fixing the tiles.

I came here to stay with my wife. Under the law and via a legal document I own the improvements to the land so if I had to sell I would get my money back.
