YES!! I love the foil community, specifically the wing community. it's so fresh and new and everyone is stoked! kiters, surfers, windsurfers, even people with zero wind or water sports are converging and it's so exciting. y'all are doing a great job as ambassadors to the sport, keep it up, AND THANKS!!

You are on my list as well. I have watched your channel from the beginning and always used it as a benchmark for how to do it right! Your stoke for the sport is apparent in every video you produce.

Damo, you inspired me to want to kite almost 10 years ago (sadly, I have taken some lessons but I'm not there yet) but my big foiling inspiration is the channel JD'Followcam'. He is out in Maui at Kanaha beach and he kites on a tiny 2M kite, with a foil board that is barely bigger than a cafeteria tray and he shoots AMAZING video with just an Insta360 GO3 of the folks wing foiling there. He is documenting the evolution of the sport as the bar is getting raised astronomically on tricks over there. The groms in Maui are writing the book on tricks and JD is catching it all. His videos will blow you away!

We appreciate you Pete, thank you for the kind words. 100% love what JD'Followcam is doing for the sport! Legend.

I was just random watching Videos on YT and stumbled first over an E Foil Video after a few Vids ive see Your Chanel and that was the Point where i said to me......thats what i want to do, so i tried my first Lession in Croatia (premantura) in our Holidays. The Teacher was Lovro from istra kayak , he is a passionate surfer and foiler. After the Holidays i came back home to Austria, near the Boarder of Switzerland by the Lake Constance and searched for a store to buy my first gear. Bought it and learned with you guys to fly. I am still a Beginner and need some more Wings and Stuff but it makes so much Fun. And the Comunity at Lake Constance grows, awesome People helping each others out and learning together!!! 👍🌍

The Wingfoil community in Florida is super friendly and helpful. Went to Stuart causeway for the first time today, first person I saw was Gwen, stopped my car and started talking with him, get some info about the spot... En plus d'être SUPER doué, Il est vraiment gentil ce gars! J'étais enchanté de faire sa connaissance "en personne". À la prochaine.

Hi. Love you guys (in a brotherly way of course). I kite surfed on twin tips for about 20 years then for 2.5 years past that added kite foiling (then only twin tip for a handful number of days per year), then for the last 1.5 years added wing foiling (it started as 90/10 kite/wing, now its about 20/80 kite/wing. I think about winging but not so much kiting anymore. How it started, no one person. It's when I saw locals guys, I don't even know their names, surfing wind swells in Port Phillip Bay, St Kilda beach Melbourne, Australia. Then researching to learn before buying and seeing you guys and looked over your videos trying to help others really made me think "wow I have to try this sport". And you guys in your earlier days with Harry were doing lots of riding in wave conditions which looked so appealing. So if I was in the same country as you I'd buy everything from you. You guys are truly inspirational. Thank you and you deserve great things always. Best.

I started out wake foiling in New Hampshire thanks to Ace Tarberry. Ace has turned on dozens of people to foiling, and it totally changed my life. Now I spent my winters in Florida living in a van and chasing the dream. I appreciate what you guys do to help others and spread the stoke. Gwen is a top notch person, humble but so talented.

Grateful for the people who pushed this sport into being big, ("quite") affordable and easy. Used to be a sad not windsurfing windsurfer on the brink to being depressive but now having this sport, it gets me on the water all the time. plus it's easier on my rotting body, haha!

Saw a video "Cool Change " by Shaan Miller during Covid and it blew my mind. So amazingly beautiful . That was first time I saw wing foiling and knew it was perfect sport for me coming from surfing and windsurfing background. I have been enjoying it ever since at my home on Bequia in the Grenadines where it's perfect place to wing foil. Damien and Gwen have been so helpful along the way with your instructional videos and equipment reviews. I have learned a lot from your videos as have countless other wing foilers. Thanks for what you do.

I was initially inspired by gcammar's video, "Even the dog can't believe his eyes." of Kane. I saw Kai Lenny on his SUP and was interested but the Kane video put it over the top for me. Lately, Mr. Bennetts riding style has had my attention as well as my daily JD Followcam. I can add that I've been inspired by Gwen's progress and tips over the last year. He has an excellent ability to focus on the subtleties of technique and communicates them well, even though English is not his first language. Thanks to both of you for your work and may the future bring you success in all you do.

Hell yeah! I got inspired by kai Kenny initially. I then found tons of other people on Instagram and RUclips that were absolutely ripping. Then I learnt how to foil from watching RUclips videos, mostly from your channel! Like many others, I don’t have deep pockets to spend on all the newest gear and in person lessons so being able to access the free instructional videos on here is so amazing!

Brendan Sea of gotLift Foil school and Jaredan B of Branson Dick Tours who continues to push me and sail with me! Long haul for me, an inland sailor, who made the swap from windsurfing/windfoiling. Jazzed to pass on what I've learned.

Believe it or not, you guys inspired me somehow during Covid I was looking for something to get me outside, and I started getting interested in an Efoil and came across your channel and watched all of your original early RUclips videos with Harry the legend, and I’m about his age so it inspired me and I went and bought an Efoil and now I’m learning to Dock Start and flat water pump And we have a whole group of us that go out together and practice Dock starting about three or four times a week. and it’s really fun.
This summer I’m going to learn to wing foil. So thanks you guys.

I watch, and re-watch, so many of your videos and they are beyond helpful for me. Also just wanted to say thanks for being so naturally inclusive (without the bogus charade playing and signaling) with all that you do in these sports, for so many different people. ❤️ 💪 🤙

He y'all! I've been learning since August 2023 on Lake Texoma. Closest wind sport community is an hour and a half south. I've seen somebody else wingfoiling down there one time and that's the only time I've seen some one else do it live in person. I've got some kite and surfing experience from over 10 years ago and allot of wakeboard experience. 100% of my education on this is from RUclips. I've watched all your videos and many of them several times. Thank you for your knowledge, time and passion! And don't take your friendships for granted, nobody I know is interested in doing this with me. God bless from north Texas!

I was fortunate enough to live on Maui when the first modern carbon foils came out from Alex Aguerra / GoFoil back in 2016/17. Dave Kalama was the first in my group of friends to ride one, then it spread from there. I started prone then SUP foiling Maui in 2018, then wingfoiling once it came to Maui. I have videos posted on my YT channel of the progression in foils, boards, and wings from the beginning. I'm now up in Maine winging with a small community up here exploring the coastlines on foil. Keep up the good work you guys spreading the stoke~~!

I live on the NH seacoast. I discovered wing foiling on the Standup Zone forum and watched it evolve from the beginning. My neighbor got one around 2020 and I soon followed. The NH saltwater wing foiling scene is small. We have about six locals in our group. Rarely do we see other foilers. Damo and Gwen's videos have been educational and inspirational.
