In this video I share my key take aways from the race and how I could've done better. And even question whether I want to race?
With Hawaii on the horizon it was a great experience to have!
Downwind foil racing isn't going anywhere. I think this part of the sport is only going to keep booming. It's very exciting
Well done and some good and usefull impressions 🎉❤ thanks for sharing!
Don’t be hard on yourself,I’ve paddled against James a few times in Hawaii, and I’m
Nearly twice his age.So I know how you feel. Love the blogs
Gotta be hard on yourself if you wanna improve :) I don't have the age barrier - James and I are the same age :)
Thanks for sharing your experience. I'm hoping you can start your podcast back up!
Me too haha!!
Well done Dave ,love your honesty 🤙😀
Thanks 👍
Love your take Dave! See you in Hawaii! My goal is to just finish M2M run
Likewise for all the races :)
Good Feedback. Its an achievement just to finish that run. Looked very challenging... Well done!
Sure was tough.
Nice insights and self-reflections. Was anyone else successfully using bigger foils? It looked like there was some underlying ground swell which would have been travelling at a fair speed and I'd be keen to know if, say the 1401, would have been able to keep up with those faster bumps? My technique and fitness doesn't allow me to use the smaller faster foils and it makes it really tricky when you have faster moving bumps as they literally run away under you when using bigger foils.
You’re right - 1401 wouldn’t have kept up with those swells but neither did the 1121. Needed the 1051 to keep up with this but there wasn’t that much on offer for me to pump through it.
Hi Dave , well done and love following your journey. Q: what is the watch you use to get all these specs galore?
Glad you enjoy it :) The Garmin Fenix 6
Is that a PRS in the background, Dave?
Yeah the Silver Sky.
Foil drive and jet skis ???? Hopefully not scored in the same as paddle up.
Yeah sort of but it was more about just getting as many people involved as possible.
